Kim Soo Hyun, So Ji Sub, Han Ye Seul, Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Dong Wook, Kang Han Na, Shin Ye Eun, Kang Hoon and many more sent wreaths and expressed their condolences for Song Jae Rim.
Song Jae-Rim shared his last Instagram post ten months ago, and has remained inactive on the social media ever since. But, he updated his bio sometime back leaving fans guessing with the cryptic description. The Korean actor was found dead at his Seoul residence on November 12.

Song Jae-Rim's last Instagram post is going viral. Though the late Korean actor shared a mirror selfie ten months ago, and has remained inactive on the social media ever since, he did update his bio sometime back. And the text in the bio has also introgued many.
Song did his last Instagram upload on January 23, 2024. It was a two picture post with an emoji of a masked face. He was clicking himself in a mirror reflection. He had disabled the comments section on his micro blogging platform.
In addition, reports claim that Song changed his Instagram bio too. The updated one, written in Korean translates to "The beginning of a long journey." This line has further created an air of mystery around the actor with his fans discussing whether things were fine with him in personal life.

Song was found dead at his Seoul residence on Tuesday, November 12. As per reports, a friend who was supposed to meet him discovered his body and called the police. His funeral is expected to be held in Yeouido and the burial site will be held at the Seoul City Crematorium.

Song Jae-Rim made his acting debut with 2009 film Actresses. He went on to appear in more movies including The Suspect, Tunnel 3D, Yaksha: Ruthless Operations and Good Morning.
Song shot to fame after portraying the loyal bodyguard to Kim Soo-Hyun's character Kim Jae-Woon in The Moon Embracing the Sun (2012). He was recently seen in Korean show Queen Woo which aired between August-September 2024. His upcoming projects include movies I'll Become Rich and Death Business.

On November 12, 2024, Song was found dead at his home in Seongdong District, Seoul at around 12:30 (KST). An official from the Seongdong Police Station, confirmed that there is "no evidence of foul play". It was reported that "the police found a note on two pages of A4 paper at the scene". Song's funeral will be held at the Yeouido St. Mary's Funeral Hall on November 14.
