Me, my mawmaw, and my mum used to play and listen to this song, my mawmaw recently passed away and this song is so special to me because of her

My father would always play this song when he was playing records, and say this is dedicated to me, this is my song. I was his only daughter and we have the same brown eyes. He was the most loving, nurturing and hardworking father a person could have. We lost him last year to cancer at only 64. Sometimes when I miss him, I play this song because even though it makes me cry from the intense pain of missing him, it also brings up the memories of us dancing, laughing, all the music and love we shared. I take such comfort in this song, it is one of the many aspects of my father's love that I have now that he is gone, we just have memories, videos, songs. I hear this song and I can feel him with me singing and dancing and laughing and telling me again this song is dedicated to me his beautiful daughter lol. I have never known a love that is similar in its wholesome beauty to the love I shared with my father. He was my hero, my safe haven, and the glue that held our family together.
