Resident Evil 0 is not that BAD..

IMO of the classic games,
0 is better than Code Veronica.

Second Story R is one of THE best remakes ever. Up there with Resident Evil 1 remake. Buy it and play it already if you haven't!

This was a beautiful game is it’s own right. Add the item box back and most complaints about the game would diminish.

Guilty, but I know I’m not the only one that wants a remake of this game. Add the RE2/3/4 remake touch to it and watch as it becomes the shooting star it should have always been to the franchise. 👍

Can't understand what people see in it. The game's sole purpose is to keep you busy and waste your time. Not to actively challenge or engage the player in any meaningful way.
It's just an absolute slog that any of the originals and even CVX (another slog) beat out easily

Finished this game 2 days ago for the first time and it was great.

Bro this is like the best walkthrough I’ve ever used, helped but didn’t hold you hand too much I loved it.

HOLY 💩! BILLY IS THE NEMESIS IN 3! It explains everything about why you don’t see him in the rest of the series. The dead giveaway is in the first introduction scene with Rebecca when he says “STARS”. The same exact way that the original nemesis did in original RE3 when he’s chasing Jill. What also backs up this theory is that Billy was a mercenary soldier and was most likely out of country when he was captured by umbrella at the end of zero. And he was the only other person left alive besides Rebecca, Jill, Chris, Barry and Wesker that knew about the Arklay Mountains secret.

Watching this brought back so many good memories, and some bad ones (stupid monkeys!). I’ve always had a soft spot for Rebecca, I really hope she’s in RE9.

You’re much more daring a player than I am, I struggle leaving enemies alive, which makes boss fights a bit harder as I have like no ammo 😂

I remember I got stuck against that bat boss because I had terrible inventory management

This was my first RE game. And I say that as someone who entered late into the series.
It's the one I've been weirdly fascinated with, whether it's the black sheep of the series or something else, I have no idea.
Playing it, I didn't hate it, but the item management and amount of backtracking was fairly annoying.
Surprisingly, I only died once and it wasn't even by a boss.
I kept health items on me at all times (except when I had to carry key items to avoid backtracking).
I ended up eventually abandoning the starting pistols near the end of the game, once I got the magnum, while still carrying the shotgun and the grenade launcher.
Overall, I enjoyed it for what it is and I can see a remake improving it, which is apparently in development, but that could just be a rumor.

Re zero is great it layed the groundwork for re 5 its one of capcoms babies but they just didnt do Rebecca very much justice in correlating this game with re 1 rebecca not having billys dogtag or having any other remnants from zero (intel on dr marcus, the training facility etc) but she did provide medical care for her team

Replayed the game again with a item box mod and it wasn't bad I enjoyed it

Its not bad just bland its just decent and not essential but a good starting point the series gets better with each instalment in my opinion.

i just finished my 1st ever run my final take its not as bad as ppl say after years of games handing things to me on a plate it was nice to haft to think and challenge my self i was constantly from A to B batck tracking for things i had to put down XD the proto co op as i will dub it was a neat idea but poorly done but the thing that pulled me in was the story for a new re fan who has only played 2 3 4 remake 5 and cv was nice to go back to where it all began will be follwing on with the og games after i take a well deserved nap

re0 is a masterpiece you just dislike it cos skill issue, get good

Zero is underrated. This was the second RE game i owned, after code Veronica for Dreamcast. It scared the hell out of me

Yeah, it's not a bad RE game it just needed item boxes and some other minor changes also I think Billy should have been the protagonist of RE5 🤔

I played RE-0 when it came out on the Cube. OMG you brought back so much nostalgia playing through this. Hookshot was where I got stuck for a long time, then where to use it too.

RE:0 was an iconic staple of my childhood, the leeches infesting the train is permanently burned into my skull. This was basically the only M rated game I owned until I got black ops 2

I just finished Code Veronica. 0 is a masterpiece in comparison.

I wonder if that train is still there or did get obliterated when Racoon City was nuked

Billy Coen is such an underrated RE character and is such a shame that he has never been acknowledged in any other game outside of RE0 and Umbrella Chronicles. Really hope we get some him back in a mainline/spin-off game sometime soon along with Rebecca too.

I wish they would bring back tank controls and fixed camera angles for more survival horror games in the future. devs could make some gems with super low budgets if they made more games like this instead of focusing on graphics and over the shoulder camera Angeles

You give this game too much slack. This is the most difficult and closest to scary RE game in the whole franchise. The story does make sense and fits perfectly as a set up to REmake. RE0 also allures to the progenitor virus.
