I know Dale cringed at the "create your own cover design," comment. LOL. I will say for my nonfiction, I've created all my covers except 2, and one of them I sooooooo need to update! Never liked it. I just finished a book about moving to another country. Showing Ziggy the first cover concept helped. He said, "Why do you have a child on the cover?" It wasn't a child, but with the hat, backpack and shadows, she did look like a child at the airport. Whew! Back to the drawing board, but this is when I can be creative with images instead of words.

Hey Kelli, nice to see you back! Always appreciate the tips. I have found that the books I researched - other best seller covers in that niche, I often made my own cover. And overall those are the ones that have sold more for me. Gaming & coloring books I've never see as low content, every page is unique and different, unlike most journals/notebooks.
