My uncle had a pit bull and she was so mellow. I was a bit scared of her cause she was huge and I was a kid but every time I saw her after a while I realized she just wanted to chill.

I had a few pitbulls before and they were the most friendly and protective dogs I had. I love pitbulls dearly because if you raise them right, they can be the best friend and the guard dog put together❤ It sucks that sooooo many people dont realize its how you RAISE the pittie, not the breed itself

Pit bulls get a bad rep because of bad owners…. they are actually sweet dogs when treated right and loved… I never owned a pit bull but a stray did spend the night with me one night, years ago when I lived in an apartment complex. I couldn’t have dogs at my place so unfortunately i had to call animal control the next day. I had to go to work and recall watching in the rear view mirror of them “catching” him I felt so bad, but at the time I couldn’t have done anything different. What surprised me the most about him is that he came right in and hung out with me then tried to be a lap dog on the couch lol He was so sweet! It’s been long enough now RIP my one night stranger, I hope you eventually found your forever home….

My grandma had a beautiful white pit bull named Tia. She had pure white fur except for her feet were black. She was the sweetest, most playful, and protective dog I’ve ever met. She passed on in her sleep about 10 years ago and I still always think about her whenever I see a playful dog.
