Mobs Drop 3000 Gold In Legacy Raid, bug?

Personally I think the devs are trying to create a bubble in the market. The inflation has been absolutely nuts since draenor.

Does it still works? Just tried with a 110 Holy Priest, unequipped the weapon, used Smite untill half HP, destroyed the Heart and then killed the boss, but the boss wasn't looteable, what did I do wrong?

yeah lol. u could do this for the cataclysm raids for like 3-4k gold for a normal run, one shot everything. same with hc just more gold per run. done it many times

I have done ulduar a ton of times for Mimiron's Head for 3 years. I always took out the 3 tree watchers and now when I finally got the mount it's suddenly bugged with more gold on the loot. I wish this bug was there way earlier.

Tried this today, punched the heart twice and he died :/

kind of think this is a consolation prize since you have to forgo getting a chance at mimirons head

This used to work until the WTBgold guy tweeted to the Devs whining about this..

Just ran it now.. and sad to report that none of the bosses are dropping 700+ gold. Ran last week with my alts and it did work but as of now... NERFED! (sad panda eyes)

This was fixed yesterday afternoon at some point, i ran it twice and got the 3k+, then didn't notice the rest only got 30 odd gold from those same kills, also, now when doing Hardmode for XT you don't even get loot, just gold. Was good while it lasted i guess.

Seems to be fixed as of today on EU. Now drops only around ~32g.

This has been "fixed" this week and the bosses only drop 30ish gold now.

looks like it was fixed today sometime i did it last night was 2 weeks of it and today i try it on my last 2 alts and it only drops 30 gold now well rip that i mad 47k gold out of it aleast

sorry gang. as of 1-29-19, it has been nerffed. no more easy gold, tried on 6 alts.

Tried it 30/1-19. Only looted 30g from each tree. Did I do something wrong or has it been patched?

The bug for this got fixed, does not work anymore. Just so you know.

Its over now...thank god i made it 2 weeks in a row with my chars and got 40 k out of it :). Thank you for the guide.

Dont know if they fixed it or i did it wrong, tried it 2 times with my 120 druid and my 110 monk. I was at XT (unequipped my weapon) dropped his health to 45% with autoattacks and used a single target abbility (shred/tiger palm) to destroy it, the boss instandly died after i killed the heart and i got no loot from the boss.

No more after fix :)

Can't you get banned for exploiting?

Sucks I missed this, Could use gold considering there is no way to make raw gold in current content that ammounts to anything. (Outside of the rare 2000g world quest)

I found about this while farming for mimeron's head when I accidentally aggroed a tree. Made quite a bit of gold off it for a few weeks. Never knew about XT though. Oh well.
