New Taurus G3X Gun Review : The Hybrid

yeah I have the G2C, and it’s nice and compact. Now I want the full size
grip to go with it. Price doesn’t hurt either. Either this or the new P15 by
Kel tek.

I absolutely love my G3 Taurus absolutely has been killing it lately with there stuff the G2 G3(and all the versions) the GX4 the TX22 the T.O.R.O updates they offer on there website is a cool option.just good guns for a good price.👍🏿👍🏿

I do wish the mag sleeve on the 17 round mags were just integrated with the floor plate but I can live with it,also the jiggly bullets in the mag was annoying until I learned the fix.that drove me nuts at first.but other than those two things awesome gun.also love the newer G’s are Glock sight compatible👍🏿

I get the same result by carrying my G3c with the G3 15 rd mag with a mag sleeve from Bloodywheels.

So when is Taurus going to update the G3X with a T.O.R.O version? And does anyone know whether the G3C 15 round mag can be used with the G3X with the removal of the spacer?

I have the Taurus g2c the g3c and g3. The g3 had over 10 thousand rounds through it and never any malfunctions at all using all types of different ammunition I was so impressed with it I got another one. I wasn’t impressed with the g4 enough to buy one but I do believe I will have to get the g3x now. I have several different pistols different brands but none has proven to be any more reliable than my Taurus g series.

If you plan on buying one of these guns then, you should also plan on replacing the front and rear sights or having a red dot installed. I have bought 2. Both shoot low and to the left. You can adjust the rear sight to correct the "to the left" problem but the front sight is not adjustable. The gun is very accurate once the sight problem is solved. We have red dots on ours now and they are tack drivers

I love the way the G3C fits my hand, with the 12 round mags, but I wish it came with a four or four-and-a-quarter inch barrel.

I really want one, but will wait until a thumb safety version is available!

I got one of those new Taurus G3C’s and it’s actually called the Taurus G3C SR (Safety Removed). I love it!

The slide to my G3x is locked forward with a round in the chamber. Slide moves enough to do a press check. How would I remedy this?

Its easier to just get a 18 round magazine a p226 an get a spacer. Its the same as a G3X. It's cheaper an you get 3 extra rounds.

Own the G3X, over 3000 rounds through pistol and the only malfunction was with polymer tipped hollow points, 5 minutes of polishing the feed ramp and chamber, have shot 12 different style and brands of hollow points with 0 malfunctions, the only upgrade I’ve done is changed sights and that’s only a personal preference, factory sights worked perfect, price on my particular pistol was only 240, these pistol are every bit as good as glocks , smith’s , h&k’s , Springfield’s and I have those mentioned pistol’s also.

The G3X vs the new GX4 Carry?

I'm curious, I recently bought the G3X and love it. The fit, the texture, the size, love the trigger etc but the sights are off! I can keep it in a 2" group at 20' but I have to aim with the bottom of the front sight level with the top of the rear sight. Sights aren't adjustable, is this a warranty issue? It has been like this since the first shot, I have about 350 rounds through it and it's constantly low unless I accommodate. Should I ask them to look at it or bring it to a local gunsmith?

Does anybody know if Taurus will issue a TORO version if this pistol anytime soon?
