A song about my paternal grandmother who grew up on a farm in Staffordshire in the UK. She came from a family of seven - she had four sisters and two brothers who are all mentioned in the song. They moved to Birmingham when she was in her early teens, where her father started a building company which is still run as a family business. For a few years I lived in one of the houses that they built, near Great Barr in Birmingham!

The song appears on my album Middle England which features songs connected to the Midlands area of the UK.
