Ok i wanna replace my xpulse with something a bit bigger, powerful and for short highway rides capabilities with better pillion comfort . Is this good or Vstrom 250 ? Love the practical nimble and easy to ride aspects of xpulse so the new Himalayan though really tempting is massive. And the xpulse is my daily commuter.

You have said that people might get bored of speed 400 after some time. Did you make the same assessment of the scrambler?

I always thought he was biased against TVS Ronin 225, but now I own one and looks like he was very genuine about Ronin's lack of ability as a touring bike.

@motorinc thanks for the video, you have generally recommended to avoid booking in the first lot. Scrambler was launched in October, so is February the right time to book it, assuming that the chinks that were identified in the 1st few months would have been ironed out.

Hey Shumi I’m that Himalayan 411 guy again, yesterday I took test ride of both Speed and 400 X… I loved the speed more, what I felt for scrambler was only the initial torque is good 1&2 gears then 3&4 th ehh same as Himalayan but Himalayan does take off-road better then the 400X and it’s somewhat kinda KTM adv 390 where you sit tall on the motorcycle…, according to my riding experience on taking to off road there are certain patches where your legs don’t reach the round and it’s very difficult and uncomfortable where as Himalayan suspension goes down as you sit hence you can easily touch the ground and have more control… I would say if you’re a Himalayan guy don’t go for the 400X it’s more or less the same, I wish triumph could have given more premium switch quality on both the bikes, like you see in MT 15 and Honda CB 350 those have very good quality that I know till now

2 of my friends got the scrambler 400x, To be honest I don't like it at all. If you guys take a look at the speed and compare it to scrambler you can see the scrambled has way less quality and they did hige cost cutting.
For example scrambler has cheap quality gear and brake padal compared to the speed. One of my friend ended up bending the gear lever just by dropping it while standing.

Im upgrading from Pulsar N160 to a bigger bike in the next 6-8 months
But im torn between Scramble 400 and Interceptor 650, the financial aspect is also something that I consider.
Ideally I wanna go for the 650 but im unable to fit it within my budget but I can fit the scrambler in easily.
If i wait for a year or so i can afford the 650 but im not willing to as im tired of putting off my touring plans due to lack of a proper bike
Do you suggest i go for the scrambler now or wait a full year and go for the 650?

I recently got the Triumph Scrambler 400x. It’s a beautiful bike with a great engine. However, their dealers’ scams are ruining both Triumph’s reputation and my love for the bike.

Keerthi Triumph is blackmailing me to pay extra amount after 20 days of my bike delivery. I bought the bike when the ₹10k offer on ex-showroom price was running. They delivered the bike after missing the delivery twice. The delivery was very bad experience. The sales guy never used to pick my call after the amount was paid. Now they’re calling me to pay some ₹2k because they paid the RTO fee after the offer is over and the tax was paid on the original ex-showroom price. They’re not even respectful. They’re very rude. They’re literally blackmailing me that they’ll not process my file for the RTO registration and I will not receive my RC if I don’t pay.

What are your thoughts and how should I handle this?

So, Himalayan 452 is much more evolved Scrambler? 😁 I bought that over the Scrambler 400x. Although both are great at what they do.
