Interview with Prof. Dr. Manfred Lange (The Cyprus Institute)

The 1st Mediterranean Report (MAR1) on climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean will be published in 2020. This report is prepared by more than 100 scientists from 20 countries, who are members of the network of Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change (MedECC).
We asked some of the authors of the report to reply to 3 questions:
1) What impacts of climate and environmental changes are already visible in the Mediterranean Basin ?
2) What are the most serious challenges for Mediterranean ecosystems and societies in the next decades ?
3) Could you give some examples of concrete actions that could improve resilience of the Mediterranean region to environmental change ?
