Yuji Nishida is one of my favorite outside hitters of all time. His ability to calculate ball placement just before or even during a jump spike is incredible! Along with Yuki Ishikawa and Ran Takahashi, they form my favorite volleyball trio. In fact, I admire the entire Japanese team. As a former volleyball player myself, I appreciate technique and player IQ more than brute strength, especially when you're part of one of the shortest teams on the international circuit. I just love watching these guys play! 👍😊
