Slowing Time Episode 1

In this episode of Slowing Time, we use an Anarchy Blaster to generate smoke rings and see what they look like at 1255 frames per second! What do smoke vortexes look like 41x slower than normal speed? Cthulhu. Don't believe me? You'll just have to watch and see for yourself.

We used an Edgertronic high speed camera to shoot the slow motion footage and then used Digital Anarchy's Flicker Free plugin to remove the flicker that results from high speed video and electric lights (we don't have the really expensive lights). The plugin is available for After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and more hosts are coming soon.

And, yes, time traveling with a super high speed camera is quite fun.
