Replacing the Droid Turbo's SIM card

I thought CDMA phones use an ESN or something similar. since when are they having sim cards ? excuse my Ignorance as I'm living in europe and over here everything's GSM

It was the same as last year's DROID Ultra linup. DROID Ultra, DROID MAXX and DROID Mini

can i pop in a different sim when travelling outside the US? 

This is nothing new. The older Droids are like that too. I have a Droid Ultra and the Sim card is in the same place

That's quite clever, however is more prone to break easily.

The specs to mention other LTE bands.... But If I were to be in UK or Italy would I be able to load a Vodaphone or Orange sim and have voice and data there? It seems this is not a true world phone like say an iPHONE.

Is that a nano sim?

my sim tray came broken.  volume up doesnt work. i think the top pointy thing is chipped and too short? is it suppose to be shorter than the bottom one or is mine abnormal

Thanks alot cause Verizon told me that they don't put them on theirs and microsd card also. so I thought bull manure .Preciate that man very much and if you can get back to me I have another question to ask you if you could help
