Please cover the place's history in pre-Kempegowda era too. The Gangas, Cholas, and even the place has a history of pre-history and the super continent Pangea
ОтветитьHyderabad 😍 deccan ❤ 👑
ОтветитьHi Aneesh, thanks for the wonderful video. Could'nt hold my thoughts. As a Bengaluru huduga i feel the injustice done in your video.
No mention of Sir M. Visweshwaraiah. No mention of IISc, TATA Institute, DRDO, ISRO, NAL, The Koch Institute, The Bengaluru Dairy, The Silk Institute, The Mysore Soap Factory.
5 of the top Navaratna PSUs are in Bengaluru: HMT, HAL, BEL, BHEL, and BEML.
IIMB, IIITB, ITPB (first in the country)
Bengaluru was once a city with office buses, which soon replaced with engineering colleges, IT parks, and IIIT, 2 of top 10 IT (Wipro & Infosys) giants are headquartered in Bengaluru
Contact centers, R&D centers
The famous ISKCON
Bengaluru is a city with multiple cultures and ethnicities - there is the original Kannadiga hub (Jayanagar, Basavanagudi, Malleshwara, Rajajinagar ), the Anglo Indian hub of Frazer, Cooke town, the Telugu majority Eastern Bengaluru, the Tamil majority Ulsoor, thanks to the Madras Sapper group. The Malayalee hub of Jalahalli & Peenya. The Muslim and Urdu speaking hub of Shivajinagar.
Bengaluru boasting of many Military campuses, with Army and Airforce base, one can find a mini India - every language of India is spoken in its colonies. Military research hub thanks to its strategic location.
Before the lush foreign locations of many Bollywood movies, Bengaluru and Mysuru were ideal shooting locations (watch all the hindi movies of 70s to 90s).
Koramangala is an unbeaten start-up hub. Bengaluru is still the Healthcare & Pharmacy hub of India - The Narayana Hospitals, Biocon, Fortis, Sagar Hospitals, Sathya Sai, NIMHANS, Himalaya, Astra Zeneca, Zydus.

ОтветитьGreat job thank you
ОтветитьProbably the best history video I've seen in a long time! 1 suggestion, please mention the approx year (if you know) of the various events. It helps form a mental map. Also, please try if you can avoid AI images, they're rather inaccurate. Try to find historic art though it's harder.
Ответитьsuper information, keep up the great work
ОтветитьThe video is just more beyond awesome. I have so many things to appreciate but more than that your pronunciations are at the point, just like local Bengalurean pronounces them. Very clear and crisp. A huge thanks for that ❤

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts everyone! Many of you have pointed out that I missed out on highlighting a major part of Bangalore's history: the contributions of King Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV.
He was responsible for innumerable public works and advancements in the Mysore State and Bangalore specifically. I'll definitely consider making another video on the more recent history of the city to rectify this glaring omission!
