ОтветитьUse consultancy for what it is
.. a great place to learn complex things with big clients that you wouldn't get in a normal job. As a senior leader in any company you will need to work min 55hrs a week. In the cruise, its longer and irregular. Do consultancy for 3 to 5 years then move on.
ok.. but we also need a video on why people like working at Mckinsey, Bain, BCG?
ОтветитьI recommend working in boutique consulting firms which focus on specific areas
Ответитьso hard to find job
ОтветитьReason number 1 having empathy and a soul and being unable to work for fucking Satan
Ответитьthis accent was so thick it took me the first 5 seconds of the video to even process the idea that this was in English
ОтветитьGeT To tHe ChOPpaaA
ОтветитьAny undergrads with tier 2 buisness school get into McKinsey
Ответитьsweet cartier, man
Ответитьdo consultant these days learn about mechine learning? I am wondering if yhe curiculum has changed
ОтветитьMuh se pan nikal
Ответитьconsultants don’t actually do anything lmao… we just take responsibility for fucking up the things that our clients want us to do. i’m happy to be a consultant even though i hate this shit, the people who pay us are dumb fucks
Ответитьor more likely because they soon realize they are working for actual criminals and don't want to be involved into their shit
Ответитьheinrich Himmler !!!!!!!
Ответить“Conzaldens” 😂
ОтветитьSkipped corruption
Ответитьthis accent feels like I also got invited to have bier und wurst while talking shop. i hate consulting so much lol.
ОтветитьI bet he pronounces Weimar correctly with a “V” though 😂
ОтветитьMan, I wish I were Jewish.
ОтветитьSeeing his right hand movement, I almost thought he was dancing LoL
Ответитьoi go back 🙃
ОтветитьInteresting theory! Must be so exhausting viciously stomping on the middle class or poisoning millions of people....
ОтветитьDoes the same happen to data scientists at Mckinsey? Do they suffer long working hours?
ОтветитьAt what point they put you on a PIP?
Ответить*ahem ahem
State capture by Bain
ahem ahem*
Thanks...I like to solve problems and I was interested in consulting...but after watching this video I am no longer interested as I like both theory + practical..I like work life balance .. So consulting isn't for me...Are there any other career options similar to consultancy but without these drawbacks?
ОтветитьAs there are faster ways of making millions. 2-3 years is enough
Ответитьwe need the thermal drill
Ответитьgreat cartier santos bro
ОтветитьHi! Does anyone know if MBB have limits of applications per year? Could I apply for McKinsey in 20 different countries in the same year?
Thank you in advance
Und man hat keine Business Verantwortung. Man merkt einfach, dass das richtige Business in der Industrie gemacht wird. Sag ja schon der Name, man berät halt nur
ОтветитьI left MBB general consulting track because the salary was miserable when comparing to other opportunities in a developing country such as Brazil.
Growth tech and startups would pay more for 9-5 jobs and even having a faster career path (at least for the first 5-7 years).
IB would pay 3x+ consulting salary for a very similar amount of working hours.
Then I left for another MBB in Europe to work as a Data Scientist, where the salary gap to IB and Growth tech is not that big
I think those reasons are applicable for any industry where one has to face clients or senior management
ОтветитьThat's a very good point! The only Big 4 I'd consider is Deloitte althought it doesn't have the MBB reputation but I do know they work on implementation a lot as well as the theory so it would help to an extent with exit opportunities.
ОтветитьThe hardest part is to get in and not getting fired🤣
ОтветитьWould love to fill the gap
ОтветитьDo meme review w me
ОтветитьSo what are the typical exits from consulting? Especially if one has been in a senior role for a long time and lack specific hands-on industry experience.
ОтветитьSeems reasonable, I get tired of excel pretty fast!
