When I met Kevin, and he asked me out, I decided to do something I had never done before. I prepared myself to accept rejection, but I also resolved myself to not follow any of the ridiculous "rules" society places on dating.  I didn't play any games, was up front about what I was thinking and feeling and allowed myself to show him that I was genuinely excited about him and where we were headed. That was two years ago, and next year I will become his wife and I wouldn’t give up this fun and real way of living.

This is pretty interesting, I guess we all have these crazy thoughts running through our minds when we're getting to know someone. I'm sort of in that position, seeing a really sweet guy but I'm also scared of getting hurt. In the end we all want to be loved and are willing to take that chance.

I like when people tell me how they are really feeling.  I would not ask, "How are you?"  if I didn't want to know.

I think it is rude to ask someone that if you really don't care.

Wow, serious?  I am always honest with people who want me to be.  Most people don't want me to be though.

I was just thinking about this last night. How many times do we say say we're "good" when something is eating at us, or we just have a bad day. How many times do we laugh along so that we fit in or smile so we can say we are happy? People need to be more honest with each other and ourselves, instead of saying good. That's why I ask people how they are doing twice once so they can say good and another so I know how they really feel.
