for DJI Air 3 with goggles 3 can you switch the gimbal mode from FPV to Follow mode on your drone? coz mine doesnt have this option.

It's nice that you can now use the goggles and the rc2 together so you don't have to get the motion controller, just the goggles.

Thanks for the explanation. If you pair the Googles but have not previously unpaired the RC2 in the DJI app, this message appears that you can now start 5 times. Are you still insured with Care Refresh for the 5 flights?

I am still not clear... do you need to always have a mobile device connected to use the Avata 2, or is the phone only used for the initial set up?

Great that we can fly now using the goggles 3 and the RC 2. What would it be nice that this becomes available for the Googles integra / Goggles 2 as well!!!

Thanks for testing. I’m wondering how about RC-N2 it would be some problem with connected phone when we need to connect gogle with phone at the same time when got rc-n2 connected? I did have to call DJI on this setup. The right update isn't available on Apple Apps and I didn't know you had to goto DJI Website and download the correct update and install it. This part turned out to be a huge pain in the ass. Also, had the software on binding the drone and setup giving me failed messages due to it telling me the code to my Avata 2 was incorrect and it wasn't working.

I went through the DJI website and sure enough it did register, but the software on my Goggles 3 and iPhone just wasn't communicating right.

Hope they offer a cushion to the Goggles 3 that doesn't completely suck hard like the thin rubber cased around the goggles that sticks to your face and offers no protection whatsoever to the plastic mold of the Goggles 3.

Thank you! I just purchased my DJI Mini 4 Pro, the DJI Goggles 3, and the latest motion controller. My friend says I am spending $2k and I think he is about right. I plan on purchasing the DJI insurance as well for “fly aways”, and any other “incidents”. I just want to enjoy the drone and take some great footage. My thanks to you for putting up such a great explanation about how each of these three cutting edge devices works together.

I have set up my goggles 3 but i need to calibrate the goggles before i can use the head tracking , i was having issues connecting everything due to a loose phone plug and when i got it all to work my gimbal icon is always red , how do i fix this issue please

I have the integra goggles and RC Motion 2 binded to my mini 4 pro And I want to remove / unbind them so I could use the new goggles 3 and RC motion 3 .

But not even DJI support could do it
They want to unbind my RC 2 first…????

Hi! How can I mirror my Goggles 3 display to my phone (iOS)? Even if I use the Liveview mode (DJI Fly app ) with cable or wi-fi, I can only see the Avata 2 camera image without telemetry data and I can't see the menu when I use it on the Goggles.

Hi I just connected my Goggles 3 to my MINI 4 , everything works fine except I noticed my signal weakened out around 700m distance at a height of around 70m to around 5mbps sometimes lower that the screen button turning orange to red to warn me, wonder if anyone is encountering this?

Really doesn't help that you can't do this with an off-the-shelf drone, you are forced to pay hundreds of dollars for one of their controllers. Not impressed.

Great video thank you! I have the Avata 2 and Mini 4 Pro. I love the way when I switch from motion 3 to RC3, I don’t have to relink/re-pair as it happens seamlessly. So once I have set up goggles 3 with mini 4 pro and RC2, is this also seamless please? No need to relink every time or re-pair. Once I switch one on and the other off, it will just connect right?

I like this combo. I qm.lookomg for my 1st dronw ans def want the goggles 3 and controller 3 for ease ofnuse but concerned about buying rhe Avata2 because there is no obstacle avoidance and I am pretty sure I will wrecknit learning. Itnos a larger initial cost but ifnthey work with the mini pro4 and can give me the crash protection of the obstacle avoidance that seems to be the best option. Or am I missing or misunderstanding something about this percieved advantage?

The issue happens more often when using motion control and goggles.

You left out the unbinding of the rc 2 then use the motion 3 not pairing but binding

I have the Avata 1 with Goggles Integra and Motion Controller 2.

Now I also bought the Mini 4 Pro.

I've already bound everything to the drone.

BUT: Eveytime I want to switch from RC controller to Goggles (with Motion Controller) it says that I've got only 5 flights left and I need to rebind via the Fly App. Same vice versa.

How can I get rid of this procedure to EVERYTIME reconnect the goggles via USB-cable to my iPhone and binding again and again after using the Stick RC Controller??

Hello Henrick I'm looking for some serious help here. I have a mini 4 pro with goggles 3 and motion controller 3.

I'm having 2 issues and looking for some assistance.

1st issue : I've bound the goggles and the M3 to the drone and been flying which is amazing but when I turn back on my RC2 whilst the drone is on the screen is black with a message obviously I can use the RC2 to fly via the goggles also. But when I turn the M3 controller back on I see a message in the goggles saying :not using a bound device ? How when it was bound 1st ????

Also 2nd issue is when I use USB:C from goggles to my phone via dji app it says there's a flysafe update. When I click update it fails and tried everything to update this. . Gives a message about a combo update info ? ? ? ? Tried everything and nothing??

Does anyone or yourself have any help or suggestions?

Should I unbound everything and start over?
