How MANY Pikmin Does it Take to Beat Pikmin 3?

The plasm wraith is actually pretty easy if you abuse the dodge whistle.
I stood right in front of him when he was right about to stab, two dodge whistle’s and no Pikmin lost.

The Quaggled Mireclops is one boss for which I've spent a lot of time on perfecting my strategy. As long as I'm not rushing it, no pikmin die, even when I did a similar run in the past, but without any glitches/exploits. I may redo that run after watching this video however. As I don't believe in abusing unintended mechanics, I will still have 20 reds, 6 rocks, 20 yellows, and if I decide not to use the blue candypops, 10 pinks and 10 blues (for all fruits, unless I'm forgetting one I will need more Pikmin for)

I've been playing too much Pikmin 4. Its surreal seeing enemies actually respawn after you kill them.

I think a fantastic challenge would be to see how many in game days it would take for you to beat all 4 pikmin games, in one run, back to back

The final boss is actually very easy but time consuming(forgot the name of the boss). What you want to do is to before doing the boss immediately go to the distant tundra. Then make all of your type rock(don’t forget to not make an extinction). After that, to the formidable oak. Go into the maze and take the bombs that are behind the ice wall. Rocks cannot be killed by the final boss with the normal attack, they will only get knockbacked. Do not try to remove any water, fire and electrical hazards he creates. Only destroy ice cubes ones. Throw the bombs at him to do massive damage. And destroy the yellow remains with bombs to for efficiency. Try to remove the remains and hit him at the same time for even more efficiency. Also, for the quagmire clomps, it’s hard but there’s a better method. Only bring 2 captains to the arena, 5 reds and 5 rocks and all of your pink. In the arena, put one of the captain out of the arena with all of the pinks, and another in with reds and rocks. Damage him with only the reds and break the ice with the rocks (I did the challenge and one of my 6 tries I did it with one cycle somehow). Then, on the second phase, use remove from the using captain from the arena but first throw your reds on the safe zone of the arena right before leaving the arena. Then, control the other captain that was controlling the pinks and take the reds after entering the arena and attack his feet with the reds and attack the ice protected red thing with the pinks. It’s way more secure to have less pikmin in the arena. It’s more secure and it’s also less complicated to know where are the pikmin. And that’s basically it! I finished this challenge and the two boss the was the hardest for me is surprisingly the two first because omg I didn’t realize how hard it was with only 6 rocks… and the lying dude is sooooooo hard because of the wind-spinning attack. I learned a lot from you too! I didn’t know any out of bounds glitch before! (I only used the one in the cave tho). I loved the video and maybe one of my favourite too! Good editing too! I’m surely gonna watch the already uploaded pikmin 4 video when I will finish the challenge (I will do it before watching it). I wish this comment helped!

Watching this after seeing the pikmin 4 installment is crazy bc 26 pikmin on day 2 i was like wow thats terrible

If you do this challenge again change all your pikmin besides 1 red, yellow, blue, and winged pikmin into rock pikmin in the plasm wraith fight, the needle attack the wraith has, for the elementtal attacks, or at least for the deluxe version i play, theres a moment where the element doesnt show when the wraith spits it out, and for the fire attack, throw the rocks and whistle them, it works! Hope this helps if you do this again. (Also thank you for the great videos, i LOVE the pikmin videos you do)

I take 4 bombs to the shaggy guys, toss one at a leg, then the next, and so on by the last leg it is hairless, I have had 0 Pikmin risked and I can them just toss Pikmin (Flying are my fave) for a quick and easy process.

Pro gamer tip: Bomb rocks absolutely delete the plasm wraith, if you went back into the cave and grabbed a few that would've made life much easier

I honnestly question: how many Pikmin does it take to beat Pikmin 4? How many to save Olimar, how many to get all treasures. I mean considering Oatchi can carry most treasures on his own, let alone the pebble pitcher can still fire while the survey drone is in use
