I have always believed that this was something to do with the death of Leah Betts. It's no coincidence that her dad was high up in the police, his daughter dies from Ecstasy tablets provided by Tony, Pat, and Craig. Then less than a month later they're all dead.

Leah Betts didn't die from bad ecstasy, she died because she drank a ridiculous amount of water in a short space of time, I think it was 9 litres in 90 minutes. She did this because of the stupid drug campaign that pushed misinformation that ecstasy users were dying of dehydration

It's hard to believe that the murderer who the evidence seems to show was very calm and cool and seemingly professional, would have chosen or agreed to the use of a car that was a complete "banger" that leaked oil and stood some chance of breaking down, and also been ok with the car being driven by a bit player, who wanted to have a pint while doing the "work". I don't believe M.S or J.W were ever guilty and how any jury could come to that conclusion has always confused me. I've always thought some degree of police corruption played some part in the conviction if not the actual death of the 3 men.
