Cinecolor utilized 2 primary colors: cyan and magenta, no yellow. In 1949 they came out with SuperCinecolor, which used all three primary colors, giving a much fuller color palette.

I live in Nottinghamshire and I've never seen mountains in any part of the county. All the outlaws had peaked caps and were immaculately dressed. Which if you knew anything about medieval times this was B.S.

He is no Errol Flynn, but this was a good one. Robin has the most Merrymen in his band then I have ever seen. There must be 50. And there very colorful, especially Will Scarlet like usual. Bright Orange would of made him quite a target, even in the woods.😊😊

I'll say this, it's considerably better than many films today. Good script, good actors, and nicely directed.
B picture? I say no. B+, A- at worst.

Well, Jon Hall ain't know Fairbanks, the sword fighting was C grade Hollywood. But who doesn't like a romantic Robin Hood movie? BTW, Richard I never returned to England after the Crusade. He died in France from a crossbow wound.

Apart from the American actor who couldn't talk old English, it wasn't too bad. 😂

This was great. I expected worse from the description, but for a fun adventurous romp with derring-do and action and decent characters and script, this fit the bill nicely. I liked that a majority of the side characters got lines or more to do than just fill some space for a shot. That made it feel more grounded, along with the castle having presence and lending weight to the film. I wish the ending wasn't so rushed, but glad they took time for lots of those side moments. I enjoyed watching it.
