The lack of knowledge, understanding and Wisdom is very bad even though it is always available, I am proud to be Congolese and I am been in Goma North-Kivu/D.R.congo in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus-Christ for 10 years now... people need wisdom specially our government and their advicers for violence or the war is not the permanent solution for this. People need to sit down and talk of the involved parts and negociate for parmanent peace, other wise it will repeat again because the source of the matter was not dealt with. Thanks

Kagame is killing machine of Congolese people through M23. Congolese people are very kind and peaceful, but both hutus and tutsis are criminals. Go and kill each other in Rwanda, not in Congo. Drc will win this battle as they fighting for the right of its citizens including rwandophones congolese.

A few days ago,M23 was threatening Goma.
The fact that their movement has stalled tells you that the Kenyan intervention is working.
The peace process is being given a chance but once that hope dissapears expect the Kenyan contingent to use land and air force to neutralize rebels.
The didn't go there to play.

The congo regime recently invited trafigura (not a Rwanda co. but a swiss one) to dig up that forlorn nation for minerals.
“Trafigura in January signed a $600 million financing and marketing deal with Chemaf and its Dubai-based parent company Shalina Resources. Under the agreement Trafigura will market all the cobalt produced by Chemaf's Congo operations.” (Reuters)
“Trafigura has been named or involved in several scandals, particularly the 2006 Ivory Coast toxic waste dump, which left up to 100,000 people with skin rashes, headaches and respiratory problems. The company was also involved in the Iraq Oil-for-Food Scandal.”
“Trafigura Group Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based Swiss multinational commodity trading company founded in 1993 that trades in base metals.”

FDLR who committed Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda and were given safe heaven is DRC at the Boarder with Rwanda instead of being brought to Justice. Now FDLR have made a marriage with FRDC congo Army over the years and the Divorce is going to cost a lot to DRC and now they are killing Congolese Kinyarwanda speaking Tutsi due to the genocide Ideology supported by the Congolese government where Congolese Tutsi have been killed , burnt alive and eaten. The M23 should stand up for your Rights. DRC should come to talks with M23.

EXCLUSIVE: Inside the Congolese army’s campaign of rape and looting in South Kivu
Victims and witnesses provide IRIN with dozens of horrifying first-hand accounts of violent sexual assault
The abuses documented by IRIN began in late September 2017 after government soldiers reoccupied areas briefly captured by a new alliance of local Mai-Mai militias called the National People’s Coalition for the Sovereignty of the Congo (CNPSC).
The CNPSC is one of three Mai-Mai coalitions that have recently emerged in eastern Congo, an area mired in conflict since the mid-1990s, when the perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide fled there, triggering two regional wars.
In September, the CNPSC launched a fresh offensive in the Fizi region, capturing a string of strategic villages before attempting an audacious naval assault on Uvira, the second largest town in South Kivu.
The group was eventually driven back by MONUSCO, the UN’s peacekeeping mission, which deployed attack helicopters to protect the town.
The Congolese army moves in:
As the Mai-Mai coalition withdrew from nearby villages, Congolese soldiers began systematically raping women and arbitrarily arresting young men, according to dozens of interviews IRIN conducted over several weeks with victims and witnesses.
In Makobola, 15 kilometres south of Uvira, the representative of a local peace organisation said at least 25 women were gang raped by Congolese soldiers over the course of one day in late September, after the army retook the town.
The still-bruised 36-year-old woman said she was gang raped by soldiers alongside her 65-year-old blind mother at 10 in the morning. The attack was so brutal she said her mother was subsequently paralysed from the waist down and died shortly afterwards.
“She couldn’t move; she couldn’t even go to the toilet,” the woman said.
Nearby, a 35-year-old mother-of-four said she was stopped by soldiers outside her home at 10am while taking her two-year-old son to the toilet. The soldiers asked where her husband was. When she replied that he was travelling, they accused her of collaborating with the rebels.
“They told me, ‘You are telling us this because your husband is Mai-Mai and you have sent him to the bush’,” she said.
The soldiers stole her phone and money hidden in her underwear before entering her house. “They said, ‘Today we will rape you until you regret being alive’,” she recalled.
Five men then raped her in front of her children until she fell unconscious.
“I woke up to the sound of my children shouting Mama, Mama!,” she said.
In a restaurant on the main road through Makobola, five women tried to hide but were caught and raped by 15 soldiers, according to the peace organisation representative.
One of the women, passing through the town to visit a hospital further south in Baraka, subsequently died. Another was hospitalised after being penetrated with a wooden object.
The owner of the restaurant told IRIN the five women were eventually freed after she paid soldiers the equivalent of around $100.
“After what happened, I felt very bad,” she said.
At another restaurant, an owner said she was raped at night on 11 October, after soldiers accused her of providing a place for Mai-Mai to sleep. Two more women inside her restaurant were also raped, with soldiers shooting into the air to stop them screaming. The soldiers then stole $130, leaving the owner broke.
“I have nothing to restart my business,” she said.
Further south in Sebele, another village in the Fizi region, three men were killed by Congolese soldiers and eight women raped after the army regained control, according to village deputy chief Elias Feruzi.

I've tried to follow the congo crisis I am yet to understand it. The congo government is saying Rwanda and Uganda are supporting the m23. Which might be true coz how all of a sudden Uganda and Rwanda are now big producers of gold?. On the other hand Rwanda and Uganda are sending troops to fight the same groups they are being claimed to be supportive off, the congo government says it doesn't need troops from the two. East African leaders are not inviting m23 on the table. Which means everybody shares the cake and everyone is happy why not share the cake it's big enough to feed the whole Africa. Easy include everyone.

Hate will bring no peace; there are Congolese Tutsis, and that must be accepted. Myself, I am one of them. It's really sorrowful to grow experiencing a certain discrimination because of who they label you to be. My friends, let's love each other; things must change! Let there be dialogue between the two fighting parts instead of giving too much attention to war. War brings no peace. Since the m23 proposes dialogue, may the government accept it! Love and peace friends ✌️

How can lament yourself about having no peace yet you give too much attention to "fights" instead of peace talks? I mean our Congolese government should include the m23 in the peace talks too. Wars are expensive as in terms of costing lives of innocent people. Non one should merit to die coz life is a gift from God. Peace and love!
