ОтветитьAwesome! Love to see knipex and tool improvement. Can’t afford it, but nevertheless cool
ОтветитьDo the new sizes come in comfort grip yet
Ответить150s is a must have for me as an EDC
Ответитьcan you get the new handle attachments to try them? like the colour coding, voltage tester, light, lanyard etc?
ОтветитьCan the 6” take off toilet tank bolts?
ОтветитьI want the 150 in comfort grip
ОтветитьDang it! My brain is going to bother me until I buy that 6" pair.
ОтветитьWhen in doubt buy them all! I've seen doc's lbt and a few others for size scale before deciding if I really need them. The big ones seem a little too big for anything I need and are for sure on the non priority list. The small one is interesting i liked that you showed it right up with engineer needlenose. I don't see needing small things like that right away but wouldn't turn them away for a good peice. In the end they did right by the customer by offering the 200mm pair only at first it seems to be a goldilocks size for most people. Your not alone i have 3 pair of rhe dipped 200s so bags don't have to share since I've caught them on sale as low as 15 and 17 dollars a pair.
ОтветитьGood video, I’m more interested in the 150mm than the 250mm. The sweet spot with that tool is the 200mm - 8”.
ОтветитьWe are the dipped handle gang with many members! If i had comfort handles on all my pliers my bag would be half circle like a peacock 🦚 because the handles would interfere with each other. Size does matter!
ОтветитьGonna have to pull the trigger on that 150 if it comes on sale for the Holidays.
ОтветитьI use my 200s a lot twisting wire nuts and solid 12 and 10. I think the little 6" pair would be far better for that! Gonna order me some!
ОтветитьThat 8" (200) Twin grip gets a lot of use by me. In fact I bought a second to keep one in my car bag. One of the best purchases I ever made. Defintely want the 6". I need to think about that 3 pc set.
ОтветитьI see the larger pair as a straight handled pipe wrench for 1/2”-3/4” pipe
ОтветитьI've got a 125 Cobra and a 125 pliers wrench in my Vanquest FTIM 6x9 EDC bag and I think the 150 twin grips will complement those nicely. Though I do wish they had an even smaller 125 twin grip to match my other two, but I can see how that might further limit their functionality.
ОтветитьThe 200mm twingrip is one of my top 5 hand tools. I’m going to have to get the 150’s to replace my Engineer PZ-58/6.25” Vampliers in my tools bags. The Knipex textured grips are the best.
ОтветитьThanks. I have been looking around, thaks to you, I just ordered.
ОтветитьThx Joey. I love my 200s. 🧰
ОтветитьI could see using the smaller ones, but the need isn't great. I'm going to hold off for now, but it will be parked in the back of my mind.
ОтветитьOne thing I think most people miss on is tightening a blot straight on. The screw extraction part wraps around 2 opposite corners of the bolt/nut and gives you essentially 4 point of contact or at least contact for torque on 4 flats. THAT has got me out of a few jams.
ОтветитьMy wish list is getting longer.😂
Would the 8 or 10 inch those work to hold onto a carriage bolt head, when stripped out in wood, such as a deck? Usually I try and lock a pair of locking pliers onto the head.
I have the regular now I am after the small ones perfect edition to my tool arsenal
ОтветитьThe price for all 3 already went up to $114 and change. You got a great deal
ОтветитьIt’s $108 and change for the 6” and the $10”
ОтветитьOrdered the 10” and have the smaller vamplier. Need to see if vamplier is still around,if not will get another knipex,,,,be well….
ОтветитьCurrently restoring my dad’s 1970 Ford Maverick and I found some really old twin grips in the trunk, don’t know what brand they are since it’s all metal and rusty. Work like Knipex though from what I feel
ОтветитьMan I Can’t wait for the 100mm or 125mm judging by the size increments that’s going on I’m leaning towards 100mm this is my prediction because of the Extra Small Slot in the Twin Grip Tool Roll
ОтветитьDid you ever try some Vampliers?
ОтветитьI use the 8” fairly often at one of the sites where I do a lot of service work. So many of the screws on the junction boxes are stripped badly…. I can definitely see getting good use out of the 6” to just be more slim in my pocket or pouch as well as getting a bit better access to tight spots. I absolutely agree with you about the 10” probably not being used as much for screw extraction but I’m sure I’ll end up with those eventually too because the 8” are so good all-around I’m sure I’ll find a good use for the 10” in time.
ОтветитьI wish they made the XS version of TwinGrip.
ОтветитьMy 6” pair showed up for delivery between Oct 31 - Nov 9… the wait is gonna kill me…lol
ОтветитьOwner of the 8" 82-02-200 (soft grip) here... love them and my favorite pliers. A bit pricy, so I don't think I'll get any of the other new sizes, but they are in my bag at all times. Perfect for getting at screws.
ОтветитьI think the 10” one would be ideal in a welding shop, I’d be buying one if I still did that.
Ответить😂😂😂.. Good Job Knipex, they Listened to Last Best Tool wish as an EDC twin grip..
Great Company Knipex.. Listening to the guys in the field, Learning and Innovating at the same time..
Does Klein know you're cheating on them? Does the wife know you're cheating on Klein?
ОтветитьBeen looking to buy the 150 here but not finding on on sale yet in the Netherlands weirdly enuf
ОтветитьAre we gonna do a black edition tool haul soon? Then analyze why we buy them just because of color 😆?
ОтветитьOMG, I just bought the 200 mm set. There are two more now!
ОтветитьI agree with you on the cobra style dipped grips. I would prefer if knipex used that style grip on all dipped handle pliers.
ОтветитьI wish knipex would make there pliers wrench in that angle
ОтветитьI think the 150 twin grips is gonna take my mini cobras spot in my pocket.
ОтветитьA great video, Sir.knipex, is one of my favorite tools just like Klein. A great video on the Veto pouch as well.
ОтветитьJust ordered mine thanks for the great video as always great job
ОтветитьAnyone know which is better Twin grip or engineer/vampliers?
ОтветитьWhat veto bag is that?
Ответитьcertain companies seems to be head and shoulders above the competition, Knipex is one of them. i also have Veto pro Pac bags full of Klein, Wiha, Wera and Knipex. I have the 8" twin grips on order and cant wait to try them.
