where the f. is Goggins? XD
Ответить"If you stop you're going to die" - My mindset right there. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, the belief itself will carry you to the finish line.
ОтветитьThe editing is insane. Thank you for this high quality video ❤
ОтветитьGreat video and cool sport! I would also have loved to hear from some of the women athletes
ОтветитьCompletely useless waste of energy. Imagine what they could have accomplished if they put all that effort into something meaningful. Bunch of morons running on a mountain lol
ОтветитьAwesome concept... I am not even trying... :D
Ответить$10k? I wouldn’t do that unless it was at least $10 million.
Ответитьwhy would you run tho 3.4miles/hour is easily walkable
ОтветитьRESPECT TO ALL THAT RAN THIS and going to run this, but how do you stop the runners from taking short cuts and cheating
ОтветитьFor those wondering:
One lap is 4.1 miles. The elevation is 605 steps. Sign up fee is 225$.
This is the info from their official website (link in description):
$10,000 to the overall winner (100 runners) each runner will pay $225 to sign up and, at the start of the race, will be given a $100 bill to carry the entire race. If the runner desires to stop or times out of the race, they will place the $100 bill into a glass case for the overall winner to claim at the end. Two years into the planning to discover the toughest location to pull off a backyard ultra and we found it at the famous AT approach trail in the Amicalola Falls State Park at the coldest possible time of the year. The loop starts at the top of the falls with the rugged East Ridge trail leading down to the bottom parking area to pick up the lower Mountain Laurel trail and then up the AT Approach trails with 605 steps back to the top of the falls.
Simple: Each runner will have 1 hour to complete the 4.1-mile loop every hour until only one person remains.
1000 extra props to the man who did this race w/o a crew 🤯 impressive!
ОтветитьReally great concept! Is there a fee also? Keep trail running fr$$ , volunteer to maintain your local trails!!!
ОтветитьJustin’s story sounds like a Disco Elysium ending
Ответить“Hunter made me go out again.”
Lol peer pressure got you another half loop. You’re welcome.
Astounding lack of information in the video
ОтветитьThanks for overusing our Appalachian Trail for greed
ОтветитьI can't say I love the concept of this race.
ОтветитьOverall great video however one minor critique, the song that permeated throughout the later part of the video made it difficult for me to continue watching as it was not inspiring or uplifting, it sounded sad. Kudos to the runners.
ОтветитьNEW DATE: December 7th, 2024
REGISTRATION OPENS THIS WEDNESDAY, MAY 8TH, AT 9:00AM EASTERN TIME AND WILL SELL OUT IN MINUTES.
Go to Ultra Sign-up and get ready.
Due to more stair construction scheduled for January 2025, the park has asked us to move the event to December 7th, 2024. This change will allow us to keep the course design as planned, and it should not be as cold as January.
Love this video, and love warrior racing(a.r. Georgia). These guys know how to put on a race!
Ответить10K is a pathetic reward.
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the guy who won ?
Ответитьamazing production, amazing video!
ОтветитьLets trust in the Lord Jesus, the creator of the heavens and the earth❤ The one who died for us and gives eternal life to all those who trust in him❤
ОтветитьWhy do some start so fast?
ОтветитьCurrently reading the long walk by Stephen King, made me think of it
ОтветитьIt must really suck to be second on this race.
ОтветитьWhat’s the name of the song at 18 minutes in please
ОтветитьI really must be underestimating this really badly.
ОтветитьLol. 3.4 mph? I’m a psycho when I quit drinking and don’t sleep for days. Would have no problem with this.
Ответитьits a great challenge
ОтветитьThey did it wrong. They should've charged the first give up guy $$$$$$ so it motivates everyone not to quit and the fine lowers as you quit later. That is more fair.
Ответитьjustin is pretty pathetic
ОтветитьLooks like Amicalola falls in GA
ОтветитьTake the 100$ and run off the track
ОтветитьDescription says each lap is 3.4 miles. Isn't it supposed to be ~4.024 miles so that each day is 100 miles.
ОтветитьThis is a cool idea.... kinda crazy. Good job!
ОтветитьNo women?
ОтветитьThe dude with no crew is the winner of that race. IDGAF what anybody says
ОтветитьEncouraging a hypothermic runner to continue is wrong.
ОтветитьWho even won? He got like 13 seconds of air time and got to say nothing to the camera.
Ответить“Only 21hr of running”
Bro the longest time I’ve run is like 30 min
Wow dude, brang a lil tear on just watching. You guys are legends and very inspiring. That song was beautiful. I’ve been an alco for 15 yrs, only 3 days clear. I’ll think of you guys when the inner b!$&h comes to say hello. All the best
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me what song that was please. ✌️🙏
ОтветитьWhat an awesome format! And weather.
ОтветитьI have no idea what I’m watching. It’s race? That’s it? No other information provided?
ОтветитьThe same race, but the lap timer only ends when the last runner comes in. Then it starts again.
ОтветитьCrazy to see you still doing ultras. I knew you somewhat back at creekside hs.
