This Huyton Suite was written before they went to the Isle Of Man -in the Huyton Aliens camp in. 1940 at Adswood road near the main Liverpool Manchester Road..Not far away were other Huyton Camps for Italien and German prisoners of war. In Liverpool walker Art Gallery are art works done by other internees there at that time and they formed a "camp University" with self education as the aim.

Ironically -about 40years later[1980 ] and about 400yads from the spot where alien internment camp in Huyton where [Knowsley Teachers Centre ]this was written; [1940]
another "Huyton Suite" was rehearsed by the Knowsley Youth Orchestra[1980] .
and performed in the Huyton Suite [2 mies away]
conducted by the composer retired music teacher Ted Kirk.
I have no score of it. At 2;15/2;17 there is an optimistic flute bird call?from this cheerful suite.
