grr sooo frustrating. all i can do is pick it back up (if there's no more twitching/jerking), shake my head, and hope i don't have a grandmal.

I like how they had the man carry the glass bowl to her in the morning.. that's our reality! We're restricted to plastic in the morning, or having someone else carry glass objects for us :')

I'm about to be referred for possible JME. I've lost count of the times I've hit myself or knocked my head without warning -usually on something like a corner. Myoclonic jerks/ seizures are a nightmare but my friends prefer to say I'm possessed!

i have left frontal lobe epilepsy and to say the least, these are ultra annoying and tend to show up at the most inopportune time.

How can you tell if you had one? One time I was painting a fence and I was bent over and my body jerked up and the waist and I hit my head. I have Tourette's but it wasn't like that at all

I suffer through these. I told my parents about these involuntary jerks and they didn't believe me. It wasn't until my first grand mal seizure at a school dance did they decide to take any action. I just experienced another grand mal seizure on May 5.

I have these kinds, but my right elbow sticks to my hip, and my wrist turns backwards, I can control the left side of my body, but not my right. Never; it's always my right hand. The entirety of my right side loses control, but I'm still aware. The sad thing is, this isn't the only kind of seizure I get. I get 3-4 more kinds (I think, just going by what others have told me)

No, I'm 24 and I have it. And I usually get them when I'm tired too. Sorry to say it, but I think you must have it too...

I did the same, Id burn my hand spilling hot water, Id hit my head if I was close to anything, my Myoclonic seizures were pretty bad. The more I tried to control the worse I got especially when I was tired. It was so embarrassing. Finally I was diagnosed in 2012 and they have been controlled ever since C:

ahhh same here. I have myoclonic and absence seizures along with complex partials. I remember just ignoring them as well until a recent EEG finally detected it!
