iPhone 16 Pro: Wait for iPhone 17 or Buy Now? | Six Months Later

11 Pro and I am waiting for the 17 Pro. I wont get a Pro Max phone because its too big for my liking. My iPhone 11 Pro is 512gb and just started to give me the “free up storage” prompt. Im getting a 1tb phone next for sure, I don’t feel like paying for iCloud. But other than that my current phone is still doing well.

If the 17 is a mixture of glass and aluminum then I will skip.

I really would appreciate if you can clarify something for me. I actually need a new phone so I’m looking at the 16 pro 1 TB. Do you know if the 1TB can make the phone slower. I saw articles saying that Apple was considering going to a cheaper Quad Level Cell NAND from the Triple Level Cell NAND for the 1TB. I asked Apple. No one knows. Can you shed some light on this for me. ? I really would appreciate it.

I’ve heard about Apple would be switching to the two years upgrade cycle. So that’s why I ‘m thinking I might be skipping the 16 and wait for the 17 so that it will last longer.

I got the 16 Pro from when it came out. The only reason I would upgrade is when all Cameras would be 48 megapixels. And even if then I will probably wait till the 18 Pro. But I am not sure yet.

I have had My 14 Pro since December of the year it was introduced, still with 91 percent battery health. The only reason I may upgrade to the 17 Pro is because of the improved telephoto lens, I don’t care about Apple intelligence or any of that. I just want the best zoom possible from an iPhone. The 5X improvement that came with the iPhone 15 and 16 was not enough for me to upgrade at those times but the 17 Pro may be something I want to upgrade to

I just wish they’d add more features to the action button. I don’t understand how it’s so hard to not just add a couple tap action triple tap action and hold. You could easily get 3 different actions from that 1 button
