Sad to hear about Peter. I bought 2 prongs 3 or maybe 4 years ago after seeing them on your channel. I've got a yellow and a pink. I only used the yellow one for about 2 months when we moved to our new house and there were a lot of trees, stumps, roots etc to remove. Its a cracking tool. Having 2 was overkill but I still use the small one from time to time. It struck me at the time this product would never be a volume seller but I admired the quality of the product. Sad to see them end but its the sensible decision.
Thank you for turning me on to the product.
I bought my prongs about 5 years ago and there's nothing else that will do the job that they do. I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Peter and also sad to hear his business may close as those prongs are irreplaceable. Fortunately, the way they are made, mine will last forever. RIP Peter and thank you.
ОтветитьVery sad news. Simple designs are often the best.
I’ve just placed an order.
RIP ol’ mate.
Ahh, this video was tugging at my heartstrings.
Condolences for the loss of such a great mind and friend.
Got it 😃 YAY 💚
ОтветитьVery sad to hear of his passing. RIP Peter. I have the yellow prong. Beast of a tool. Deals with rocks, tree roots and compacted soil like nothing else.
Ответить💚
ОтветитьCondolences for Peter😢🙏
ОтветитьSome time ago I contacted Peter and bought a prong - and as you say Mark, it gets a lot of use. My condolences to Peter’s family - thanks for the news Mark, stay well.
ОтветитьSad at loss of your friend.
ОтветитьMark, condolences on the passing of your friend. Sad circumstances for sure. And it must have been difficult for you to make that video. The Prong seems like it should be in every garden and farm and construction/job site all around the world! Perhaps Kevin from Epic Gardening can help get a patent or startup capital or something? Or maybe approach a bigger tool company that makes digging bars and shovels and such? I wish you all the best, I watch every video from here in the USA. My heart goes out to you and Peter’s family. ❤
ОтветитьAw, shame, indeed, RIP, Peter - I did try to inquire after one of these a while ago, without success. I certainly would like to get one if possible!
ОтветитьThis turned into a rather sad shareholders meeting.
ОтветитьThank you Mark for sharing the news. I bought a general prong (white) a couple of years ago - and have enjoyed it. I have just bought a long prong, $112 after discount inc delivery - I can't say no. I don't want to miss out. There is so many Aussie inventions that never made it. It's sad, but I at least will have 2 x prongs.
ОтветитьSurely you just need to get them into Bunnings and will rake in millions.
ОтветитьI'd love to get one but delivery is either auz or the US. I'm in nz :(
ОтветитьCondolences for the loss of your good friend. I bought a prong back when I first saw them on your channel and it has been great I never would have been able to move the rocks and trees I did without it. It is also the strongest best made tool in my shed.
Ответитьglad Peter appreciated leg-oriented gardening tools 🤎 Gentle on the body
Ответитьbeautiful color, disgusting mass lol
ОтветитьReast in peace a man with a good heart like that , here's a share for you, and you and you he was selfless and thought of as many as he could give to, his generosity speaks kindly that surely he is in a Beautiful place Amen 🙏 God Bless.
ОтветитьSorry for your loses in a friend and a great product. I hope an investor jumps in to save the prong or someone crowdfunds its revival.
ОтветитьIf you don't have the time to run the company properly, hire a business manager and a salesman.
ОтветитьI was waiting on until I moved next year to start gardening again and getting the Prong. But purchased one just now. I can't wait to use it.
ОтветитьThanks Mark. Just ordered one General Prong white
Ответить🕊️Rip to The Prong King. ❤
ОтветитьJust giving you well wishes for your friends passing. I like your videos. You have a calm attitude and please continue to promote gardening.
ОтветитьI am real sad as well. I bought three prongs last time you promoted it and interviewed Peter! They are pretty great and I gave one to my friend, who pries up privet with hers all day long. It really is a great tool.
ОтветитьLove your channel!
Carful with the Zip Ties.
They are like a razor knife.
Flush cut them, been cut very bad by them.
Thank you Mark.
ОтветитьCondolences to you and the family of your friend
ОтветитьI like how you are not afraid to say what got Peter.
ОтветитьDevastating to hear about Peter. My condolences to his family and friends.
I have just purchased the yellow prong for gardening in Hobart, Tasmania. No doubt it will be a forever tool and last a lifetime.
Sad news mate. I can relate with the jab we must not name as well. After the first jab I fell ill under duress from my employer (no jab no job) After the second jab I fell very ill, same thing with the same threat from my employer but I had no choice, after all, I had a family to feed. After the third jab (no jab no job.........again) I lost my job because I was unable to work because of the horrendous side effects of the three jabs I was forced to take and I am currently on my own, destitute and in despair living with the consequences of being bullied and lied to by my employer and ultimately my government.
I was told it was safe and effective.
I have a lot of very large weed roots in my yard that this might actually work for. Thanks for this video. I’ll check it out. I’m sorry your friend died. 😢
ОтветитьMark, I'm sorry for your loss.. Im in America, and i orderd one of your tools the Long Prong. I can see lots a time i will be using this.
ОтветитьSorry about your friend Peter Nichol.
Have you thought about maybe Eric at Epic Gardening helping? Just a thought.
My condolences Mark and to Peter’s family
ОтветитьSo sad, remember watching you two. Just ordered one, take care hope for the best!!
ОтветитьI've been waiting to purchase this prong for ages and they were sold out and forgotten about for a while. Just picked up 2 orders. Condolences 😢
ОтветитьI'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost my best friend years ago and had to deliver the news of his passing to our collective loved ones. I know just how hard it was. I'm glad you managed to put this video out and am so grateful for how honest you are. Your work has brought me great joy over the past few years, despite not having access to a garden. I hope you're able to sort out The Prong and settle everything peacefully. Was it patented? Would it ever be possible for someone to buy the patent and being The Prong back someday? Wishing you all the best from Ohio, USA. Cheers mate.
ОтветитьSo very sorry to hear of the passing of Peter Nichol. Enjoyed his expertise when he was on your channel. Great tool. Thank you Mark I know your friend Peter will be sincerely missed.
ОтветитьFarewell Peter. You legend. 🇦🇺🎸⚡️🤘🏼🤘🏾💋💙
ОтветитьIt's such a great tool. RIP Peter.
ОтветитьOh, dear. I bought a tall prong for my husband. We didn’t know what we would do with it but he has used it multiple times. Mainly, he has removed massive root systems of plants I didn’t want, a wisteria, a crepe Myrtle, etc. Poor Peter. I’m quite saddened.
Ответитьthe "safe and effective" that was pushed on us in AUS makes me furious - let's hope there's some accountability now that it looks like that might happen in the US
ОтветитьSo I just ordered a general prong too. Because I am thinking the big yellow one that I first ordered might be good on the farm, where as this one will be good in the garden.
ОтветитьI am sorry for the loss of Peter.
ОтветитьOrdered. I will be using it and remembering a great bloke.
