Painting a Skink Starpriest | How to paint a model that scares you

I've had this Skink Starpriest put together and primed for a couple of months, but I hadn't ever painted it. Something about all of the feathers was pretty intimidating. This week, I decided to get brave and paint this feathered lizard!
