I realize All-screen is false. However, as an iPad user, I think the bezels in the brand new iPads are exactly right for holding the device when you wrap your hands around the front.

But the real question is is how would you feel If it was you with the bad card waiting.... waiting... after paying 1300 usd$?? I'd be pissed not at all acceptable to not have any on hand to immediately replace?

I thing I don’t like about these new videos is the “loading bar” on the bottom, because it makes me feel like having a shorter attention span than I actually do. Please do something about this (or at least make it less obvious)!

RTX Pascal refresh gpu line from all AIB partners has approximately 35-40 % thicker heatsinks on themselves because they need them due to Touring gpu producing a lot more heat than Pascal. So the gpu is then heating up so much consequently transferring a lot of heat to their neigbouring memory chips heating them up to a point that thermal pads on them become insulators trapping heat on the surface of the memory chips. And STOP FAN until 62 degrees C on the GPU isn't helping at all but actually speeding up the overheating of memory chips.
So RTX Pascal refresh is only bringing GDDR6 as something new and usable but sadly cooling philosophy is flawed and consumers now cannot even enjoy GDDR6 just like they can enjoy the nonexistence raytracing in any game or benchmark :).

I have a 9900k & 2080 and both are working fine.... temps are 55-60c at full load on air (cooler Noctua U14s) the 9900k & the 2080 is working great... guess I am one of the rare lucky ones, right? LOL

What if nvidia is doing this on purpose and they’re secretly working with amd since everyone is begging for amd to release new gpu

My and 2080t, as well as 3 friends who got the 2080 ti FE, all pre-ordered at launch. All have been working perfectly with not a single issue. Nvidia's is selling tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, so I believe you are just hearing from a vocal minority, who of course are rightfully upset (however they are able to return for a new card).

Consoles have GPU power limits. That forces the developers to create better algos in order to achieve better optimization . Since 2008, PC master race arises and all the money goes in graphics. No gameplay, no story, more and more buggy game and more expensive hardware. A HD4850 had a smaller performance gap to 4890 than GTX 1070 to GTX 1080 ti, with much lower price...

GDDR6 was identified as the problem. Apparently there is was an issue with a few bad batches of GDDR6 that got out. The bad part of this is, nobody is saying how many GDDR6 modules were bad at Nvidia, but the damage is done to RTX in my opinion. A bad launch, delays, dead and dying cards... Not good.

I just think GDDR6 was a bad choice as was not releasing Volta to normal consumers as a single card release outside the Titan V. A Geforce V100 8GB HBM2 card would not have been as expensive as claimed and would have been a better successor to Pascal. RTX is just a stumble, trip, and face plant for Nvidia.

If AMD launched their 2nd Gen Vega or even Navi at this point with HBM2 or even Aquabolt (HBM2+), they'd absolutely decimate the market for Nvidia. I mean people would buy cards that work, not cards that may have a gambled RAM solution that is severely flawed and could mean RMA.

Mine is overheating bad. Waited forever for this card. Pre-ordered at the first possible moment. Fail-boat too hot card. Asked for refund after 2 weeks. 1 month refund period. Now crying and Nvidia is not responding or refunding me.

My RTX 2070 died 3 days in so yea

18% more powerful than a 1080 TI. 100% shittier, 200% overpriced.

People still wanna bash AMD cards... lol.
