Landfall that results into super fast card draw: This is the monogreen version of Tatyova! Although to be honest this being monogreen using mana dorks as well might result in an even more explosive version maybe we'll be calling Tatyova decks a Simic version of Shigeki at one point

Thats an amazing list. I true it out yesterday and it workday so well. One petcard of mine is conduit of World. What do you think of that in this deck? It has Recursion and can play lands from graveyard. Have a nice Day.

Aluren makes shigeki even more fun. Composer of spring also has great synergy, especially if you build it to draw and mill gaes blessing.

I've been completely stumped by how many people underestimate Shigeki. Completely incredible card

You do the temur sabertooth/selvala combo in ALOT of your deck techs. Which is fine, but boooooring. 🥱

I’ve got 3 shigeki’s in 3 decks and I always run 2-3 other grave recursion with as you can always get what you want back from the grave. Never thought of him being a commander tho

May have to strip of Thrun of enchantment draw to give this a whirl

I wouldn't sleep on Shigeki's third mode. Channel is instant speed, so you can get that fog, removal, or grave-hate out the graveyard just in time. You can also channel combo pieces you threw in the graveyard with the first ability. I like to run umbral mantle and sword of paruns with big mana generators for infinite mana. If you get the combo Shigeki's channel ability will simply draw your entire graveyard.. and as many times as you want with an eternal witness or revive effect in the yard.

I realized I love Shigeki from using it in Anikthea, very cool. What would you recommend for making this deck more budget? I'm a bit low on money but want to try this.

I’ve literally just put together a shigeki deck! Interestingly it’s based around its channel ability to make a loop instead of casting him.

You've done it again. I was working on a Titania deck and couldn't get it to work, but then you go off and make a mono green deck with almost half of the same cards and much better built.

I would recommend considering Tangelroot as a enabler. It gives 1 green mana every time you cast a creature.

Shigeki is great! I run him as a control deck due to his ability to recycle the control spells easily. Together with some mana-doublers, ramp and untaps he can play on every players turn and control their boards. Wincon is a small Landfall package with either bis besters or many tokens.

Dammit. Im currently building thalia and the gitrog monster token/counter deck. If i make this, theyll be almost identical

Shigeki replaced Wildest Dreams in all my green decks. Being instant speed is so huge.

I got a T2 win in my OG Omnath deck because of a really cool Shigeki move.

Nylea Keen-Eyed plays really well with Shigeki. Its another cost reducer, but its also a tutorable mana sink, winning the game if you have infinite mana. She gets all your creatures to hand, and everything else to the graveyard, then Shigeki gets everything else to hand.

Hedge Shredder would be awesome in this deck.
