ОтветитьОчень нравиться японская культура,а особенно все что связано с БУСИДО.
ОтветитьBeautiful rendition! I wonder if you'd try your hands at the seemingly impossible? The segmented, double sided sword used by Jean Reno's character in Onimusha 3....?
Ответить"In Pre-Historic times..." Samurai riding Raptors against invaders is now canon to me.
ОтветитьI love the pool noodle killing

ОтветитьThis has been extremly interesting, and it produced a beautifully deadly weapon.
ОтветитьLove the vid gentlemen
ОтветитьI would love to see a Templar sword
ОтветитьThis was really interesting. I have watched other videos of Samurai swords being made but your presentation made it really clear what was being done at each stage. Very well done.
ОтветитьGood job. And to think they did this in the 1600s. Genius.
ОтветитьOne of the best videos.

ОтветитьThe original katanas were costly. Easy to see why! Wonder what you guys would charge?
ОтветитьI've seen this video many times... I just did it again... sensational.... Always fascinating to watch. Regards from Brazil.
ОтветитьHe used black furnace cemant to "clay" it and then quenched in oil completely under tempature. Never showed the blade, hada, or the hamon. These guys are jokes.
ОтветитьMight be one of my favorite videos
ОтветитьI've watched a whole bunch of these videos and I've never seen them start the fire that away they did and I never seen them actually make the material at the beginning like they did in this one
ОтветитьI like the international character of this venture, a russian metal artist forging a traditional japanese blade in the united states. Using a traditional japanese methode. So much energy united. As a hobby blacksmith with an interest in forgewelded blades this is pure soulfood. ❤
Ответитьtachi sword making!!!
ОтветитьI don't care how sharp that sword edge is -- in the real world, she wouldn't get out of that club room alive ! Too many blades, too many guys holding 'em !
ОтветитьBit of an eccentric that swordsmith. Top hat and all😅. Very informative video
ОтветитьHow much is not a polite question of a person to ask a Artist and Sword smith ... although im wondering if 2 sets of his and her katana sword could be made for me in the traditional ways, in a ( EFA ) colors whitch are purlpe and gold trimm ... I am aware it will cost at least 150 thousand for 2 full his and her sets made in the Epileptic foundation of America artistry that will freely be given to the smith as I know he shall place the soul and heart into the swords .
ОтветитьDo the Dragon Dagger from Power Rangers!
ОтветитьMajor respect for the amazing craftsmanship, not many can do this still. After saying that, they missed a few really important things. First it’s important to note that when heat treating and quenching, this is the moment the sword receives its soul. This is also the moment that the craftsman knows whether he will be able to continue with the piece or not as many crack during this process. And second the art of honing and polishing is one of the most important and most satisfying as you see the beauty of the blade come to life. Third they did not one single close-up of the blade once it was finished. And not one shot of the hamon which is the most awe inspiring part of any katana. I was very disappointed in the end because they didn’t show the beauty of their creation, only chopping objects like school children. I own a few beautiful swords and although I do enjoy chopping tatami mats, I appreciate them much more for their beauty. And I think after 1100 hours of hard labor they would want to show it.
ОтветитьPlease make the indigo Montoya rapier from princess Bride
ОтветитьThere's so much work and craftmanship for just one sword, its insane. No wonder Katanas are so popular
ОтветитьDuncan macleod's katana
ОтветитьIts beaitiful
Ответитьyou glossed over the part of inserting the core into the jacket
ОтветитьThere's a documentary called Budo The Art of Killing. It's about a martial arts school in Japan, they show the entire process of forging a sword. It's done by two men, and no one uses a power hammer. Y'all are cheaters.
Ответитьso much efford to make inferior blade to any made in europe hundreds of years prior
Ответить銘が入った古刀は高いよ!、、但し本物。実戦刀はかなり身幅有ってかつ重ね厚いので重く感じる。、、
