This is great! Do you have a weight for the camper ? I’ve been searching campers , towing capacity, payload… etc — I found my options are limited by my vehicle.
Problem solved! Build my own.
Awesome
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the corner drip rail trim? I cant seem to find it by whatever names I'm using.
ОтветитьWhat is the weight of the completed trailer.
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьSo basically it would of been easier cheaper and quicker to buy one...
ОтветитьMy hopes and dreams of building one are now crushed lmao. Thanks for the vid! Good info to know
ОтветитьStop simping my dude. If she doesn't like what you do, put her to the streets and let her die alone out there. She should respect you way more. There are much less men out there, she needs to get tossed to the dogs to learn a good life lesson. I was going to comment about the trailer, but seeing her disrespect you like that is not good for your kids to see if you ever have any.
ОтветитьThat’s actually not a bad price at all, if you buy one of these new in this type of configuration, you’ll spend upwards of 13k or more. I may go this route and pay for the cost of labor (since I don’t have the tools to do this myself) and it should still come in around 10k. I’m sure I could cut some costs in some ways also.
ОтветитьEverything is so DAMN EXPENSIVE ANYMORE 😮😮😮😭😭😭
ОтветитьPretty Lady!!!
ОтветитьI like your design and build. I live in Florida and really need air conditioning. How and what type of air conditioning unit would you install if you could. Thanks
ОтветитьCan you provide a link to where you got the aluminum please
ОтветитьHi,
Nice build thank you for the video and the information. What is the weight?
Thank you
Who was your trailer manufacturer? It looks like you got a really good product at a great price!
ОтветитьDo you know much it weighed?
ОтветитьMerhaba kapı nasıl temin edebiliriz ? I'm from Turkey 😀 I love you @WanderTears
ОтветитьGreat job and thank you for sharing I am already trying to think of ways of a saving $. I imagine getting a used trailer and sandblasting and painting it, also maybe some cutoffs and used pieces of plywood for parts of sides that are mostly cutaway and using 2x4s cut in half for most frame members and could always salvage a roof vent and/ or Windows from old junk RV, insulation large sheets of ply for floor not that much. No getting around high price of aluminum.
Only major thing I would change is I would not pocket hole main upper stretchers to sides and use mortice cutouts with glue and small steel angle brackets screwed from inside as that would be stronger tie in to sides for rigidity. A blind true mortice and ten on would be even better and slow down condensation from within and water intrusion from outside if condensation develops under Alu skin.
Los adoro
ОтветитьThank you so much for the cost breakdown. This is important information for anyone who really wants to build one.
ОтветитьThanks for video that gets right to the point. I hate videos that stretch out videos with pointless jargon. Nice job on the build too!!
Ответитьwhat kind of electrical wire do you recommend?
ОтветитьWhat size was the trailer you started with?
ОтветитьAmen on the prefab doors. On a TD i built years ago, I "cheaped out" and made a homemade door. Getting it right was literally the hardest, most aggravating part of the whole build..and i buit tge camper, frame and all.
ОтветитьI'm glad too Page, Hehehehe. Still not a bad price for what you have
ОтветитьAwsome video! Where did you get your aluminum sheets?
Ответить👍👍🇸🇦
ОтветитьLove the way how she looks her husband.:)
Ответить
Saludos y feliz recorrido !!
Is yeti even worth it kinda seems over priced
ОтветитьOff the subject but you look like one of the blackstone griddle guys
ОтветитьThank you so much for the cost breakdown. Saludos desde España.
ОтветитьSince you have a list of all the before and after; do you have a list of materials you used?
ОтветитьМолодцы!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьWelcome Family Respect Congratulations.
ОтветитьHey is this price in USD?? Also how many hours did it take you to complete the trailer? Thanks I’m advance!
Ответить6455 ..time spent together making it priceless
ОтветитьI'm sure you're missing some items like hardware, stain, sandpaper, etc. Those things can sneak in there and add up. I'm surprised the electrical was that much. Did it include solar? Great looking build!
ОтветитьDesde paillaco.. Chile.. disfrutó mucho de sus videos y lo geniales que son aprendo.mucho..gracias
ОтветитьI'd also posted on the build video, but WHY do people limit their builds to just the size of the square part of the trailer frame?
It seems easy enough to extend the flooring at least a foot aft of the rear and extend forward onto the traigular front section by at least 2 feet.
Instead of curving the top for streamlineing you leave it flat all the way and curve the SIDES in the front to match the triangular shape of the tounge area? That would be just as "streamlined" and also increase headroom & storage forward.
Sorry, I just want to think outside of "the box".
In south Africa we can not buy the door with window as one unit. I need to build the door myself. From were can i inport the doors
ОтветитьNice job! I watched the construction video as well. Many years ago I built an insulated canopy / small camper for my p/u. We have had numerous RV's since then over a 45+ year period (I did not build). I wish I had the space to build / replace our current 30' tt. The quality & craftsmanship the last few years is pathetic compared to what I know I could do. Oh well... $6500 is really a good deal though. Yes you have your labor in it, but you know what you did right (or wrong). Friend paid $21k for their's a couple of years ago. Heaven only knows what it would cost today.
Ответитьyou guys are living the dream, love it!
ОтветитьWhat size is the trailer?
ОтветитьWhere did you buy your doors?
I got a quote today for some like what you used and it was over $1300 after shipping and handling!! YIKES
What size was the trailer?
Ответить6k$, how did you spend so much in electrical
ОтветитьGreat Video! Have been looking at teardrop trailers and yeah I'm one of those people who said why are they so DAMN expensive! Now I know why! You answered all my questions with the final video!
ОтветитьÑ
ОтветитьYou paid 6455$, and had you buy a finish Trailer like this,
you have 3times more piad for that. DIY is the best, what you can do =)
Congratulation =)
