I am a native french speaker. Everybody says how beautiful french is. I never though so. But her speech at the beginning made me change my mind. Her voice, her accent... That's beautiful!

Vous découvrez maintenant, mais en France c'est en y'a 12 qu'on a vécu cela, dans la chanson française, si vous faite des mauvaise chansons, texte et music, c'est foutu, tu aura 2 personnes qui vont peut être te suivre, même Charles Aznavour, un immense talent, a été critiqué dans ses début, alors imagine.

As far as I know she had a trouble time and she had also found out that Celin Dion had prevented her career in the USA. Lara’s fans made an agreement with the pianist and sang the song for Lara. Have Celin Dion fans ever sung to her to comfort and support her?
I think at that moment she felt that the USA is not the hub of the world and that she will have a great career like that.
