I'm short 20% of my account as of today's close from 5% as of yesterday's open. However, 90% of my wealth is in gold and silver, and I have cash reserves to support myself for the next 3-4 months...so... Seems to me.... Time to risk it for the biscuits.

Greg, I'm not shorting the stock market, but I did move my limited 401k funds out of equities once you confirmed that the Fed would not cut rates in June. My plan was to watch for the doubt to set in and the market to drop a bit before the July meeting so I could buy back in at a cheaper level when the Fed was being serious instead of just blowing smoke. That was when I expected the climb to resume. However, considering that the Fed not only didn't cut in June but isn't projecting any cuts until 2020 in its report, I am surprised to see the market continuing to climb. The only real reason the market is as high as it is stems from the belief that the Fed will loosen monetary policy and cut rates to keep the good times rolling. So why are investors going crazy buying now? For all those people expecting the Fed to cut in July, how on earth can they possibly justify doing so if the stock market is at record highs? When has the Fed ever cut interest rates with the stock market setting records? And if the market is going to keep climbing all on its own just because of some rhetoric, then why bother cutting rates at all? Doesn't the Fed need to see some sort of sell-off in the market to cover their butts in order to go ahead and cut rates? So if the market remains at its peak, and the Fed stalls again in July, what are all those investors expecting rate cuts going to do? Don't you think there will be a sell-off at some point once people figure out the game that is being played? I totally get that the markets are manipulated, but I have a hard time understanding large-scale irrational behavior, so maybe you could explain this please!
