Thank you for the tutorial. In my country, I find it hard (or rare) to see any tutorials for those above 40 (which done by any persons with around that age). So far, it's just some younger beauty bloggers do some makeover for their mothers. Your tutorials surely have taught me a lot. Thanks for sharing them and I'll always look forward to your vlogs.

Ok I’m watching this again to learn more about every day makeup looks - do you still use the Kiehl’s avocado eye cream? I’m going to need something soon and believe it or not the Rewind is dry on me (probably use too much) so I need a cream that keeps concealer in place and doesn’t dry out (who doesn’t need that?) I also like how you line your eyes but the brush isn’t on Target’s site anymore - I hate when awesome things are discontinued. I love how you give the extra oomph above the crease - that’s what makes your eyes stand out - I could never figure out why mine seem “flat” no matter what I do - now I’m going to try it!:)

Do you use a self tanner? If not you use a bronzer anyways? How would you pick something like that out for fair skin?

this is helpful because every time i look up natural makeup its always instagram makeup minus eyeshadow and lashes. im not into typical teenager makeup like i used to (lipgloss, shimmery stuff) because it looks bad on me and i used to do insta baddie makeup and literal drag queen/club kid looks and id shave my brows off when i was like 13 but idk something in me changed and my anxiety makes me want to look as unnoticeable as possible. im 15 now and idk i want to be taken seriously and i want to get a job some time. maybe a baby sitter like my mom. idk theres something about natural makeup that i love :/

NARS eye primer and NYX Proof It eye primer are THE top eye primers for oily or hooded eyelids. As long as you don’t cake it on it does not crease and i don’t find I need to set it as the eyeshadow(s) I put on ‘sets’ it.

I just subscribed because I’m 40+ and I love how detailed you are in explaining how to apply makeup to achieve a more youthful appearance. The color corrector and concealer placement on and under the eyes is something I never really thought about until I seen how it lifts. The eye comparison you did demonstrated that. I love Complexion Rescue. I also have oily skin, so I always put on a mattifying moisturizer before foundation.

You look beautiful Stephanie but it's still too much for me as a routine. I have just turned 40 and feel so out of touch with what I should be using on my face. I have a mix of European and South East Asian type skin so a real combination skin type! I have big eyes but they flick down. Long eyelashes but you would never know unless I put mascara on as they are so fair when bear! I've noticed the darkness under my eyes has increased over time and my usual concealers have made it worse. My job was to be in full showgirl stage make up for years every night so any opportunity I got not to wear it I took. Now more in the back scenes of the industry feeling a little ugly. I know I'm not but not liking the sagging of the skin and losing moisture as you get older. I'm amazing at how the products we use change so drastically as we get older! Anyway thank you for the video, it was very helpful x

Hi, i just found your videos. I love them. I am just stepping into my 40s and my skin is totally changing so I'm having to wear a little more makeup. My question is about setting powders. Do you use a separate powder for under eyes and face, or can you just dust the whole fave including eyes with the same powder.

Look lady, if you can't control the sun and natural light that's in your home then how are we supposed to? 🤣 I crack myself up but luckily you just told me not to bake if it makes me look crepey and like my undereye skin is cracked...jokes aside, I have no idea how to deal w my cracked lines under my eyes. I think I spent A LOT of years crying and totally ruined my undereye skin.
