ОтветитьGorgeous people!!! I love it!! Big hugs Sue XXX
Ответитьbeautiful song - great vid - lovely stuff thanks for sharing it.
ОтветитьAs an aviator and environmentalist, this song really hits home. I can only take solace in knowing that my wee plane gets much better gas milage than any SUV or minivan on the road today, but not as good as my wee Toyota Echo...soft landings!
Ответитьflyswryan, what kind of plane do you fly, a motorglider? I fly a 172 and it probably averages around 15 mpg, which is not very good. Although to be reasonable, I don't fly it twice a day on a 50 mile commute like a lot of SUV owners do.
ОтветитьIt's cheaper to swim!
Ответитьcool, which one is your dad?
Ответитьah k....i have no idea who these people are.....just randomly came across the video....and saw your comment and thought id ask
ОтветитьGettinh the next bus to Australia - from Irl lol Gr8 message, gr8 voice, gr8 music.
ОтветитьGo Seize the Day!
Ответитьi've got their album. i think this song is fucking shit, but all their (or most of) their other stuff is really melodic and i like it sooo much. xx
Ответитьgoddamn this sucks
ОтветитьI have some very old seize the day on tape...passed on by a friend who was active on the 90's road protests, M65, Newbury and Manchester airport. These guys practice what they preach and have massively got my RESPECT!!!!! ;)
Ответить@HTLight Shush!
ОтветитьI don't agree with flying. I haven't seen my parents in 3 years cos I refuse to fly, and hitching doesn't work. Such a shame!
Ответить7/10 for the voice 8/10 for music 0/10 for the songwriter i ve got a better id, leave the rainforest in one peace
ОтветитьI'm not sure that "flying is a climate crime." I'm a pilot and my plane gets better fuel economy than my 4 cylinder Ford Ranger, and my friends 30 mpg Mazda Miata. Also considering the fact that I don't have to follow roads and can go directly to the next airport, I'm covering less distance. These days, it is common for planes to do much better than the vast majority of cars, with the exception of Prius style cars.
Ответитьone plane vs 250 cars per couple
ОтветитьOr you could learn to spell
Ответитьmet an engineer, last time I flew overseas (3 yrs ago) who said his team was working on alternative bio-waste jet fuel. In the 21st century: mightn't there be some kind of green-techno-magic carpet on the horizon? maybe as quiet as balloons were, drifting across the ocean; their passengers heard no engines, no waves hitting a boat, no sound but birds and whales and wind and rain and the waves themselves. What green miracles might be in store if we stop spending on wars?
ОтветитьSEize The Day Thankyou for all that you do!!Love you!A BIG LOVE!!
Ответитьlove it! another fantastic lyric from seize the day!
Ответитьmooi zo mooi
ОтветитьAnd it came to pass that for a brief few months in the year 2020 the sky was filled buzzards, ravens swallows, the Skylark ascending, bees, dragonflies, the humble fly and the even more humble midge. The butterflies wings could be heard again as could the glorious symphony of birdsong across that vast, clear blue sky. And a cuckoo! In our wood. The first time in decades. Listen. As its call resonates in Natures natural cathedral it is drowned by the menacing approach of apocalypse now. The helicopter grinds it way low above the trees. The brief months of 2020 have passed.
ОтветитьJAHBLESS, SOULJAHZ ROCKERZ....MARANATHA
ОтветитьIt's the sheer NUMBER of flights, worldwide. The emissions from people swanning off to foreign holidays are enormous. Ditto from oil and diesel cars, lorries etcetera. From industry, food production, us not freezing in winter, entertainment. There's just TOO MUCH. WAY too much.
And that's our challenge.
Listen to Shannon's words - she totally recognises the reasons we all over-indulge in *fossil fuel usage*. But it is killing our living world, vehicle by vehicle, chainsaw by chainsaw, Christmas lights by Christmas lights...
Sad fact, but FACT - so "What are we gonna do?"
