Those people shouting make the local population mad. You may be Happy, but havent learned in your pilgrimage that there are others Who can be disturbed? Come on!!!

I somehow feel that people nowadays tend to forget that the Camino doesn't exist by itself, that there IS a country that offers that experience, and safety, and welcome... That IS hardly mentioned by all the people making videos.
As if Spain didnt exist and was only a backdrop for the experience.

Not one Albergue past Orrison and Roncesvalles, private rooms full night's sleep each night. Not a full pilgrim experience in my opinion but each to their own.

A couple of questions- I'm thinking of doing this. I saw you leave a bag at one of the places you stayed/ how did you do that? A bag you weren't carrying with you? And- were you able to stay in your own room at each stop?

some people help the collective through personal evolution so don't beat yourself up too hard on whether u wasted years down the line. Everyone has their very unique path in life and society dictates that we achieve certain goals at a certain age but those are made up goals. Your personal worth is not tied to them. Every step along the way lead you to this experience and that in itself is valuable. Much love
