What a lovely way to end the trio of Clarkson, May and Hammond. You guys brought a lot of happiness and laughter in my life, all the best to you in your years of rest.

So you guys really think these 2 cars were parked together by chance and the Jeremy just happened to find them, and that he just happened to have the headlight which apparantly hes been carrying around for about 2 decades...Since he "always" keeps a headlight as souvinir from every roadtrip eventhough this was litterally not mentioned ever before?

This means someone rewelded the roof back onto the Mercedes also.

Brilliant last episode! I rarely criticise critics (as everyone does and should have their own opinion), but I truly believe that any critic who didn't think this was a good episode of The Grand Tour sadly didn't get the point of this episode. This episode was a celebration of the three of them together on screen for such a long time, the incredible and rare chemistry they have together, and for their history of special episodes that their long long time fans (of which there are still many) love. THAT is what this episode was about, pure and simple, and it well and truly 'delivered' for their long time fans: at the end of such an era you can't ask for much more than that.

I wonder if this was unscripted. I bet the production arranged for this to happen, and didn't tell Clarkson or May. The reactions seem genuine.

its just such a surreal moment seeing those cars nearly 20years later, i remember watching the first special as a kid, it feels like it came full circle with these final moments

"It's got it's eye back!"...is was the snapping point where i bursted out in tears...

Honestly, nobody has said this I don't think, but seriously massive props to the producers and individuals who must have spent months on end trying to track these down to get them in this scene

I've watched this moment so many times. And I can't help but slightly cry. Because this is the final time, the last good bye to a true set of legends in automotive industry. Because this was how I started off loving cars and utes it started with those cars all while I was learning to repair cars in 2007. Truly a piece of television etched into tv history forever.
