my favorite is that toy that have a jet ski jet pack, he was perfect! I think hot shot's yellow was only a sweet reference to bbb, and they never intent to have the name, as there was sparkplug for minicon, they called a stupid camera as laser beak why not look for bumblebee? Also hotshot redeco evolution colors made him look like with red flames colors of g1. don't mind the evoluiton would be a gold deco... I don't like mute movies bbb, the first movie is ok but they gain lots of problems in revenge of fallen, remember how skids and mudflap were there just to talk jokes and bad words while bbb does nothing, easly a talking bbb with jazz/sidesweep would have enough funny comments. AND expensive cars are expensive cars even to production, a more cheap car would be better to put in risk while recording, specially in these mbay movies that he love to use practical effects, even shot a stunt car in a building.

I like the fact that to survive in the animated series you needed to be one of the most sold toys and if not you die or fade into obscurity

I absolutely adore Bumblebee and actually really love that he doesn't really talk at all in most of the media that I've seen (I've seen the Bay movies, Bumblebee movie, Prime, Cyberverse, and Robots in Disguise). Bumblebee has a disability, yes, but he does learn to overcome it (ex: using radio voice snippets) and I actually think that despite not talking, he's one of the most expressive transformer characters I've seen so far. Idk why people hate on it or say it's overused, when at this point, it's like a staple of the character.

And I get the older fans like their og characters and stuff, but I only like characters based on unique personality/other aspects, or nice design. I prefer Bumblebee from the Bumblebee movie (also really like any Bumblebee that's unable to speak), I prefer the Starscream, Arcee, and Soundwave from Prime, and so on. I just like designs that are sleek, cohesive, interesting to look at, expressive, and unique. Bonus if there's a limit to expressions, like Bumblebee's muteness and Prime Soundwave's complete lack of a face.

I could never really get into Prime as a kid because of the fact that Bumblebee didn't talk, I was a huge Animated fan and not having a snarky and talkative Bumblebee felt like a cardinal sin to me.

In TFP, Smokescreen felt like a (much better) substitue of Hot Rod, not Bumble Bee.

My favorite Transformers Characters are Optimus Prime, Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime and Bumblebee and it's amazing to see how similar Hot Rod and Bumblebee end up being 😅 No trademark on both, and now Bumblebee even takes the mantle from Optimus! :o (But I hope to see Hot Rod more though 😅)

Bumblebee has been my favorite for like forever. I first saw him in the Prime series and through likeing bumblebee I got into other series of the transformers line.

I'm PRETTY sure Megatron and Starscream still win out over Bumblebee in terms of being iconic. Megatron is to the Decepticons what Optimus is to the Autobots; that's a fan view that has remained stable since the beginning, even when Megatron is dead or reformed. As for Starscream, his name has literally become the trope for a subordinate of the main villain who conspires against them for personal gain. Bumblebee may be the second most iconic Autobot, 2007-onward in particular; but even now, he still falls to fourth place in terms of being the most iconic Transformer.

I really like how robots in disguise show the first times you can be good at it even though you little one in you family you can still do it but it will take time and for you to figure it out on you only how to do it.❤😊

That's very interesting that Bumblebee became a very good trainer and mentor. but not a leader. He shows up in the reboot 2019 as an interesting character and it was developed in EarthSpark as well. I think thats a very good role for him. He's an authority, or a good new group leader, but his personality is not for a big leadership. And that's ok!

It’s kind of interesting that in transformers prime, bumblebee was accompanied by Arcee and bulkhead as a trio of kid appeal bots in that show.

@ChrisMcFeely love your work and I always enjoy your videos. After re-watching this video, it made me wonder. When hasbro loses their rights to use a certain characters name, do other companies buy up the rights to use the name in their market? Is there anyway to figure out the history of the names changing franchises? For example, in the 10 years that the name bumblebee could not be legally used by hasbro, is there a history of all the other companies that were legally able to use his name? I'd also like to see where the names of the other transformers go before they return to being legally allowed to be used again. Maybe a brief explanation can also be made about how copyright law works idk.
