Ответитьcontingent clients just waste everyone's time - learning it the hard way that a client is only committed when they pay a deposit for search. Not even exclusive search.
When a client is committed they wont shop for a series of endless CVs but quality of candidates, and would stick to the brief they give you!
How do you think I should pitch retained search if you are new to an industry with zero background, low credibility, and no book of business. I can "fake it till you make it" pretty well, but I am entering the Finance & Public Accounting space despite only doing recruiting in IT and Engineering. My firm uses contingency which is such a big risk on our end and zero on the client. I think we need to switch even if we do not have a big team or the big systems in place to do so. How would you suggest making a gameplan for this or approaching it?
