S2000 handles better and the gear box is so nice. Its just too slow for me nowadays. I own both, a A90 and GT35 turbo S2000. A boosted Stewie will start breaking things. The A90 is nice because it decently fast stock and you dont have to worry about glass diff and rear vibrations. Good luck man.

I was hoping to see another EDM car. However an S2000 isn’t a bad choice. It’s a fun sports car with excellent handling. Since it’s RHD I think you should retain the F20 engine. Since it’s a low KM odometer don’t expect to get a lower price; pay the high price I doubt they’re going to lower it a lot. An AP1 with low KM is very difficult to find.

Nothing beats the supra mk5, i love the s2000, but it aint beating german engineering buddy, only upgrade from this would be another german car named PORCHE

S2k is raw. Best shifter in any car ever made. However, feels underpowered. The excitement of VTEC and sound at 9000 rpm will wear off. Then you’re left with a gutless engine at normal speeds/driving. I owner a 2003 AP1 for 3 years.

Had both the E92 and the S2000. Theres a reason why I owned over 7 s2k’s. Every time I sell it I end up buying another one! You will fall in love with it more when driven on the track! Way funner and more raw than the supra for sure. Not the fastest thing on the road but its a drivers car for sure.
Maybe think about going Porsche….

Don't subscribe to the "supercharger" hype.. NA or Turbo.. the supercharger stuff isn't very exciting and they have terrible fuel economy which is actually kinda important when you go back roading a lot.

I'd always recommend getting different cars that serve different purposes. E9X makes a lot of sense if you're going for a one-car solution but since you already have a fast car (the Supra), the S2K can scratch a different itch and be the lightweight, high-reving analog roadster that's better suited for backroads cruising.

My neighbor has one of the most subtly clean S2000's. It's not flashy or showy, relatively speaking, but just about perfect. There's some bodywork and there are some frills here and there, but it's subtle and perfect. My first car was also a Del Sol, in high school. I saved up for a few months to get a little body kit and had to figure out how to install it. It was the first, but wouldn't be the last of my older, half beat up Hondas.

E92 M3 . No questions asked… I have the E92 manual and the A90 Supra. Best of both worlds!

It’s really quite simple actually. The S2k is the wifey material who is average looking/a bit boring but at least won’t drain your bank account.
And the E9X M3 is the hot gf who is great in bed but requires a lot of attention (aka maintenance/repairs).

Or another way to look at it: the E9X is an s2k that is on crack & steroids.

Like our conversation on IG, I think an SW20 would have been a more original build but I understand the why of the S2k or the E9X. Given the choice, I would agree with the S2K just cause I saw how good the Js racing and the Amuse S2K are.

You should get the s2000 because it is a dream car to you. I did it with the civic em1 and it was just to take that out of my list and now it will star with me forever... after that you can get any other car you like. Because they are not expensive to have.

The S2k is going to end up a unicorn. Just like all the other JDM legends, I would put it in that genre. Buy it and hold it forever. We’ll look back and wish we did.

Awesome choice. I did the opposite, had my s2000 since 2006 (still have it) and got the Supra in 2022. That top down drive is just different, and it's a fun car to drive slow. And even though my s2000 makes 390whp with a supercharger, it's nice to have something stock and fast.

As someone who has owned both, you simply can’t beat the rawness and fun of driving the hell out of an s2K with sticky tires. Nice exhaust + VTEC + 9k rpm + roof off in the trees is driving nirvana
