Your first tip is just wrong. You should not always just be shooting. If you've ever played any MOBA you'd know that constantly pushing your lane is extremely situational and doing it while your enemy is in lane is almost never the answer. Harassing the player in lane is fine but only if you're within a good range for your weapon to do damage. If you're just wasting ammo to tickle the enemy then you're probably missing CS because you lose focus on the CS or you're constantly having to reload.
