Hi, i have a leather craft question. Does the mink oil act as a sealant? I've used resoline and tan kote, but have only used oils to condition the leather before dying. Have you had any color fade or rubbing off on clothes with the mink oil finish? It looks amazing, it would be interesting to try. Also, do you happen to have patterns for sale?

I know you have a booming business now. This project you did here is amazing. I know for sure as a fellow leathercrafter, you don't make things like this anymore to sell. Why? Because you spent probably 10+ hours doing this, and no one would pay you back for the time you spent. People don't realize how much work goes in to making quality leather goods. They expect to pay Chinese prices. What you've done here is a labor of love. I'm sure you now use a laser and hydraulic press to cut out all your patterns, and probably don't do any swivel knife work or stamping or use a spray gun to jazz up the leather.

Too much work, too little appreciation from customers, and too little pay. I've been there. Regardless, I respect the work you do and am in awe of how well you've made a great business of the whole thing. Keep it up!
