Speed demon is incredibly good when you need to tow heavy cargo, or your car is surrounded and your have to push through a horde. For all the newbies that want to pick it: Drive calmly during the first time you travel a road to memorize the obstacles. If you find a highway with 0 obstacles or you got rid of them, then you can go faster, but keep in mind that if you crash into zombies the will damage you car the faster you crash into them

You would only take Hunter trait for a character that wants to use guns but dont wanna be a police officer for some reason. Trapping and sneaking are meh skills. Shortblade is a grade sidearm to guns and makes the most sense - as they are light and dont consume a lot of stamina. You can compensate hunter by taking traits that nuke your physical stats, preferably athletics over strength.

the text at the bottom is very distracting. You should try another transition or just leave it out, or use to emphasize important things, not every thing . Thanks for the great videos man.

I got a better fix than Fast Reader. Just increase the pages per minute setting.
Using rotten food in dishes is extremly tedious and makes very poor meals. You can put 6 ingredients in and if one is taken up by you scraping thay rotten for goodness you're only adding single digit -hunger instead of using a normal thing which can give upward of 20 -hunger. So you'd have to make many many more dishes of tiny -hunger food and that's super tedious

speed demon and driving skill mod go hard (driving skill increases max speed and acceleration, along with pretty much every other parameter of a car)

Even on default loot settings, I really notice when I don't take Lucky. You have to consider how many containers you're looting from in a single run. Even if the chance at finding something is only 1%, increasing that to 1.1% changes it from a 1-in-100 to a 1-in-90. Across the hundreds of containers you're going to loot through, even in just your first week (because zombies count) it's going to add up, and will continue to add up, over time.

I think inconspicuous is good in multiplayer, zombies will target your friends more often than you lol

But given that zomboid is a slow roll game that takes a while to get powerful and takes a picosecond to get dead, its easy to lose concentration for a fraction of that picosecond and find one of your neighbors tapping on your shoulder with their teeth
I love it as an emergency backup that saves runs when you are caught lacking

the main buff that speed demon has is the increased acceleration which means that getting surrounded by zombies isn't as deadly

I'm surprised there's no skill called Bloodlust, Bloodthirsty, Violent or Temper, that improves & preserves your attack from panic, with increased hunger rate or something.

In inconspicuous' defense, if you need to draw out hordes crouch and press q, you'll whisper instead of about and it'll draw a manageable amount to you

Cooking is incredibly easy to level if you fish bc filets and then cooking all your fish is just sm xp

I like traits that provide bonuses that cannot be earned through gameplay. You can earn strong or fit, but not fast learning or reduced thirst. 😅

Again, might just be luck, but (😂) with lucky trait, I found a tourist backpack, a duffel bag, a large backpack, a rifle, two shotguns, two revolvers (with ammo to all except one revolver), shittons of melee weapons of all kinds, immeasurable supply of medicine and food, two civilian vests and a sedan with keys in ignition that was in a 87% condition and filled up to 97% gas. All that within two hours of gameplay and without leaving Rosewood suburbans.
It felt overwhelming so I just went in town and shot everything that moves until a horde got me. Never taking lucky again, it felt too easy and boring. "Survivor difficulty" btw

As a nurse, trust me, the nurse profession in game SHOULD have low thirst as an auto trait. I can't tell you how many times I've been flat out for 9+ hours straight on one coffee drank at 5 or 10am depending on how early in the shift my day got fucked.
