I hate Rv graphics I think they look absolutely GARISH.
What I do like is those murals you see on the sides of
Uhaul trucks. Visit Yellowstone or see the Texas Gulf
coast Or come to Kitty Hawk, NC.
!
Instead of puttingon new vinyl graphics, just use the lines you can still see from the old graphics to tape the area off and add some automotive paint with clearcoat. It costs more, but it will last a whole lot longer. You can just get a cheap airless kit to spray it.
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьI am a new motor home, used, and these graphix are just a real pain in the ass. Why put them on to just have the sun bake them off, hassle with their removal and cleanup, just to install more ridiculous looking swoops and swirly graphix? Why not just clean 'em off and leave it clean and shiny.
ОтветитьThanks for the information. I just bought a new old camper and it looks terrific except for some of the graphics. I appreciate your info.
ОтветитьI did this just to the rear of my rv and it took for ever.
ОтветитьI use GraphXOff™ Vinyl, Adhesive and Paint Remover. Takes seconds, no matter how old the sticker is.
ОтветитьThis works great for removing decals. I used a hair dryer for the heat & goo gone pro power to remove adhesive. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьI'm reseaching how to get rid of the shadow left behind by the lettering. Do you have a process for getting the faded paint exposed to the sun to match more closely the area that was under the stickers? We are not putting on new graphics. Just want the old ones gone. Without matching up the shadows left behind, it actually looks worse that it did before starting.
ОтветитьPlastic razor blades reduce the risk of scratching...they're great ! Would you consider making a video on painting an RV after decal removal ?
ОтветитьA hair dryer works best for idiots. So If you're like me and you mess everything up the first time just go with that.
ОтветитьIt would have better if you had shown how to remove a decal that was in really bad shape, like the tan/gold one shown that had cracked and broken into hundreds of pieces.
ОтветитьNice, quick video! We are going to attempt to remove our decals off of our 2000 Jayco Eagle. Most are in good shape, but they've faded and to be honest, not a fan of splashy decals on our tiny house on wheels. We have other ideas that I hope are easy to do. Been working on updating the inside and now the weather is nicer, we can start the outside. Don't you just love making an RV into your own design!?! Have a blessed day!
ОтветитьThanks for this video.
ОтветитьDid you steal Dorothy's heat gun? I know who I am calling when it is time to remove ours. :-)
ОтветитьThat looks super easy! I’m going to try that on my RV
