You people need to change your mind set on paying your "fair share". First of all, our ancestors came to this country to get away from taxes. There were no taxes until much later. It was supposed to be temporary at like 3%. Ha, ha, they kept it and kept raising it to the bloated gov't we have now. Only corporations are supposed to pay taxes because they make profits. People who work are not working for profits. Wages are not profits. None of us "workers" or "employees" should be paying any kind of taxes. Zero. It should be illegal for Corporations to raise prices to us for their products to pay their taxes for them. We should not pay income taxes, property tax or any other tax. Our local, county, state and federal gov't would be A LOT smaller. We'd have a lot more control. But you guys don't get it... For instance, if Walmart wants a nice, paved road to their store, let them pay for it. If I want a nice, paved driveway to my house, I'd have to pay for it.

When the interest rates go up, house prices go down. So yeah, your interest is more, but the payment for house much lower.

The argument that the 1% earned the money is false.... they receive most of their worth with corporate buybacks and capital gains, which are not equally taxed as labor! Warren Buffet also explained how this works between him and his secretary years ago. Her salary is based on labor...Most of his money is based on stocks and capital gains. The wealthy use loans, which are not taxed, to buy stuff, then pay off the loans with stock value, not their salary. This is why Their salary is low and most are given in corporate buybacks,capital gains, and loopholes

I didn’t know that the Fed Chair Jerome Powell was a team member from The Carlyle Group, one of the biggest private equity firms next to Blackstone. It all makes sense now. To all the party hardliners it won’t make a difference who wins office in November. This problem can’t be fixed by either.
