When HD was invented and first used back in the days……..

But what an amazing landing by the pilots! They used what they could while easing it down ever so gently. Reverse thrust to slow it down further while apply as much braking as possible to those rear landing gears. Then slowly bring it down so the front don’t crumble up. If you want to meet heroes, they’re right there in the cockpit.

Hope the fire crew sprayed that front landing gear down. Even though there’s no immediate fire, it’s super heated from the friction. Better be safe than sorry and ignite something.

Why the hell do landing gears come out sideways?

This is as fucking stupid as it get, just put a hydraulic hand pump as a backup to drop wheels that are already frontal

I remember watching this live. It made the national news that day. I was flipping through channels and seen the plane and was like "something doesn't look right here."

What an absolute boss. Guy wheelies an a320 with 45 people on board possibly saving lives. So amazing.

Fun fact they actually landed so well they didnt do an emergency evacuation because those wouldve caused more danger/injury to the passengers.
