I don't ever want to hear a word of criticism from the old b*stards towards younger people again. They had things much easier. Cheap cars, cheap houses, leave one job in the morning and walk into another in the afternoon... It was mainly them that voted for Brexit in some misguided notion that things would return to how they were in the 50s - and they've screwed it up for the youngsters of today royally. Won't affect them on their inflation tracking pensions. Before anyone starts, I'm a gen X sitting in between. I won't feel it as hard as gen Y or Z - they really have my sympathy.
