ОтветитьThank you Mel. As a young hotel receptionist, i went to this situation lots of times by now. I wish that people know the amount of effort that hotel staff put in to accommodate the guests at the best of our abilities. Sometimes, things happen. But please, be patient because you don t have any idea what staff went through during the day. 🙏🏽

ОтветитьThe breathing technique is called box breathing. The numbers are not as important as the fact that you are either exhaling as slowly as you can or holding it for as long as you comfortably can.
I was in an abusive work situation a number of years ago and I developed a an open eyed meditation techniques that helped me when I was in staff meetings, and this person was making nasty faces at me. (Yes, the Director allowed this).
After each encounter with this woman, during which I never confronted, I would examine my behavior. I would ask myself whether I did the same things that she did to people, and looked at how I had behaved during that interaction.
I was able to change my behavior enough that without any action towards her on my part, she could not stand being around me. It did not resolve everything, I was much happier with myself.
Working in a situation with the public, I developed techniques that allowed me to get along with the “difficult “people, and they ended up liking me .
I can’t say my record is perfect in this, I am much happier with myself and the situations resolve better if there is no confrontation, but acceptance of their feelings and drawing a boundary that does not allow them to abuse me.
Owh u just describing my mental co-workers
ОтветитьTHANK U
ОтветитьLove this.....Let them be......❤

Thanks for sharing this video - Curmudgeon is what my father has been and continues to be and it's for everything and everyone. ОтветитьHello Mel! Thanks for addressing the serious and terrible issue of gossip. So many people’s lives revolve around this pettiness. Gossiping adults act like grade school bullys who refuse to grow up. They’re teaching their children that this is acceptable behavior, and it’s never ending. Let’s all do better!
ОтветитьGod bless you ❤
ОтветитьLove Mel you’re just AMAZING 🤗🫶🏻
ОтветитьTalking about gossiping I remember an incident where I met an aquantice n her friend at a restaurant n joined them for dinner. It was a long time since we met last. So at the end of dinner we exchanged phone numbers on our mobile n then we parted ways. So I got into my car n was driving home when I got a call from this aquantice whom I just exchanged numbers with n I was wondering why she is calling me as we had just met few minutes ago. I thought it was something urgent so I received the call even though I was in an awkward situation as i was driving. When I picked up the call no one responded but I overheard my aquantice n her friend gossiping about me at the other end of the line. They were unaware I was listening coz they had accidentally dialed my saved number. To tell the truth I am not sure whether they were bad mouthing me or saying something good as I just heard my name being mentioned n then I switched off the phone as I was still driving n it's illegal in our country to use mobile phones whilst driving. If caught we are heavily fined. I found it quite amusing n just hoped that they were gossiping something good about me atleast.😂😂
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьCNN🤮 compliment them for consistently lying lol
ОтветитьYou are amazing, Mel!!! This podcast found its way to me today because of the stresses at work and how I have been sick the last few days. It's from absorbing all the negatively happening at work, and I work on the front desk and love my job!!!! Our manager is a beautiful soul but too much is falling through the cracks. This podcast has actually bought me around and I will be skipping on the gossip and mean things being said in my prescence!!! Thank you for being my light today!!!!🎉✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️❤️❤️❤️
