moral of the story, Just SEND IT!
ОтветитьJust seems in a nice way your mtb skills and insufficient
ОтветитьThat chit right there ain't for common rider. While I can't justify $5,000 for a MB, anything less will break in half on the first big drop. Or your body will break cause your bike can't absorb the impact.
ОтветитьThat looks brutal.
ОтветитьI think as I’ve gotten older I’ve decided climbing is not for me. Descending and flat, flowy trails, technical trails is what better suits me.
ОтветитьGood lesson!
ОтветитьWhat bike do you use
ОтветитьNo way THIS one’s 3 years old
Ответить" toddlers , infants and even embryos at this point. lol
Ответитьngl clicked for the spicy thumbnail
Ответитьgreat video as always, I want to condole the statement...."skill is only for rent"....which I always say the same with health on a borrowed term, hope to visit Berm Park one day and check out those trails you have been introduced to us! happy trailing!!
ОтветитьGreat advice! Quit when you notice you are not up-to-par on that day. saves plenty of unbroken bones. and yes, practice practice practice!
Ответить💯mental game
ОтветитьYou saying I got away from bike reminded me about the time a took a 2 foot drop and and got a stem to the stomach right and the end of the season so I was done for the year
Ответитьif you feel like that just do a couple of green/blue trails till you got it.
ОтветитьYet still a total dork.
ОтветитьBruh the freaking embryos that grow up there are whipping harder than Jackson Goldstone in Return to earth!
ОтветитьThe two worst things you can do in any dangerous sport is say just one more. And if you get hurt stopping. My rule when i used to skate or ride was if i got cut up or hurt badly and didnt want to get back on i made myself get on and ride a bit longer. When you stop right after feeling pain you develop fear of that pain. Fear of the pain removes skill from the equation when you go back out
ОтветитьOSCLET CAME??!!
Ответитьit always one more you cant say that
ОтветитьWhistler trails are finally catching up to NORTH SHORE there in BC in terms of difficulty, but being from NC, you likely haven't skiied/snowboarded a lot - Whistler does that way more technically.
I personally think that Whistler is for snowsports while north shore is for biking, but that opinion kinda got set 20 years ago. I last rode north shore in 2007 and last skied Whistler in 2016.
Best hardtail runs I've had on either NS or Whistler were on my 2010 Salsa Mamasita 29" back when they had the carbon seat stays/Scandium front triangle/flat chainstays with a 120mm SID.
Ответитьyou said one more do not say that
ОтветитьWait, what the hell kinda MTB is that? I had no idea they built bicycles with the stanchions (I think) going all the way up to the bars.
Ответитьwe need to see bcpov with him
ОтветитьHolyy
ОтветитьWho’s here because they can’t go to whistler and is sticking to local trails
ОтветитьI just crashed my bike bad for the first time and I have a huge gash in my arm and my shoulder is super road rashed and my bike needs grips and a new front break hose fitting so that’s gonna be fun
ОтветитьGlad you didn't break any bones. I see all these videos of guys hitting sick features. What I don't see is all the hours spent getting to that point. Good to see this side of it. Thanks.
Ответитьi did the same at watershed park on the gravity bowl, over 60 jumps in i wiped out pretty good the other day, cut my knee i just felt my trek 9.9 get out from under me upon landing, and i lost it, but not even knowing my leg was bleeding i got up and went right back at her.
ОтветитьActually anyone might do better if they stop the friggin hot dogging off jump with tails whips. Can't stand that kiddie shit just ride the trail you not in a free ride competition.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing park!
ОтветитьWhistler look awesome!
ОтветитьI totally get the "feel like a passenger on my own bike". Last weekend I rode around my local trails. Super easy trails but I just felt so much in my head and so anxious that whole time. We had a lot of poor weather so it was the first day in a couple weeks I could get on the trail. There was more severer weather coming that night so I feel like I was pressuring myself to ride. Kept making little stupid mistakes and almost falling. I had planned to ride for several hours but barely made it an hour. When I was riding back to my car on the sidewalk I tried to give some extra space to a couple of runners and my tire fell off the sidewalk caught and threw me over my handles bars and smacked the pavement. I just knew i was going to fall at some point. Just didn't think it'd be on the sidewalk. lol
ОтветитьPOV it’s not it’s not your first time watching this video
ОтветитьGreat video as always man!
Ответитьanyone ridden at whistler with a specialized big hit 3?
ОтветитьIt is a true hero move to say i need to quit today because i am not feeling it. I struggle to do so and it brought me into many injuries and trouble. This skill has massive importance on the MTB. Most times we want to be a hero and then look even worse when crash
ОтветитьAwe Drama, never realized he made the trip.
ОтветитьIt's cool the amount of fun you can have on two wheels and a frame
ОтветитьSo what we have learned today folks is if you are not wrecking you’re not riding hard enough
Ответить2025 gang where ya at??
ОтветитьSerious question: what did it cost for him to get hauled off the trail with the broken ankle? I know this is not in the USA and hopefully the medical costs there aren't like they are herein the US, but coming from the US the cost of that rescue is more frightening to me than the jumps. I would have been talking my buddies into rolling me down on a bike and driving me to the hospital in one of their cars.
ОтветитьRule 1 in mtb. When someone or something says, there is time for one more run, NEVER EVER EVER do it. Ever. That’s when shit happens, all the time. No matter how good you where that day, you will crash.
ОтветитьLmao he said “I can’t ride a bike anymore.”
Man…this happens. It’s so annoying. It’s like writers block, but riders block.
It happens on EUCs too. One day I’m hitting every double in sight and the next day, the SAME doubles in like wait a damn second now..wtf is that lmao😂
"feeling like a passenger on your own bike"
"skill is for rent"
Love these sayings.
Great video. I should've called it quits, but instead deleted my collarbone on a drop I had no business attempting. And looked like an idiot doing it.
ОтветитьIt’s always the last run that gets you. Every injury I’ve ever gotten on a mountain bike at a park or when skiing is when somebody says let’s just do one more run. Now I say “nah, I’m good“
Ответить
